I am rejecting this response because:I agree on 6/19/2016They did tell me they would work on it for freeThis bike is weeks old $ 3,someone needs to be held responsibleI remember the # of on a six week old bike should be no costAgain I need a place to start and A & S was my starting point I assumed the Revdex.com would go to the next step and follow up with ***If I need to file another claim with Revdex.com just inform me of that and I will proceed with that

Customer purchased [redacted] Ebike on 6/19/2016. All [redacted] E bikes came with a 1 yr. manufacturers warranty. At the time of purchase customer also purchased an extended 5 year warranty which covers most all parts that are not consumable and it does not cover the Battery. This is explained before...

purchase of warranty and in literature that comes with warranty.The customer called our shop or 09/04/2016 telling me of the problem with his bike. I stated to him at that time that I would need to see the bike to make sure what the problem was but it Sounded like the battery. He then asked if we had the batteries in stock.At that time I had asked the customer if he had read on our [redacted] page that [redacted] Ebikes had gone out of business and was not honoring the manufacturer warranty. explained to him that [redacted] Ebikes had gone out of business and left everyone without recourse for warranty issues and I had no parts in stock.told the Customer that a new battery could be purchased if that was in fact the problem. also told him that would sell him the battery for my cost because the new owner of all the [redacted] Ebike inventory was not honoring the warranty but had parts to repair the bikes.The Conversation with the customer did not go as remembered by customer, I did not give customer a price and I have no idea how he came up with $582.00. That is in the price range but the price is a little less than that, I actually told the customer the only positive thing out of this is that the battery which was originally $899.00 from [redacted] Ebikes is now in the $500 range.As a company we were as shocked as our customers that this company has gone out of business and are willing to work on the bikes for free labor and supply parts at our cost while under the manufacturer's warranty period. As a company this is all we can offer. [redacted] Ebikes is out of business and all warranty of service claims are sent directly to the Company that has purchased all of their inventory. They in no way have any liabilities for the existing warranties is how they explained it to me. personally am not happy about any of this but as our valued customers have no recourse.AS stated previously We are more than willing to work or customers bike for free and troubleshoot and repair bike at no cost.
