A & S BMW Motorcycles

A&S Motorcycle made repairs to the lights on my motorcycle. The lights have never worked right after their repairs.

I brought my motorcycle in for repairs to the lights. A&S rewired my lights, in doing so, they remounted the lights, upside down. The lights filled with water and shorted out. I had to have another BMW shop remount the lights in Montana, to stop them from filling up with water. They were unable to get the lights working again, in Montana.

I made an appointment for repair work to be done @ A&S on Oct X XXXX. I told the service writer about the damage that was done when they worked on the motorcycle last. That the lights were now shorting out, and I was unable to operate them.

I was told that they would look into the problem, as well as fix my brakes. I left the motorcycle there for 3 days for the service to be done. When I went to pick up the motorcycle the service writer told me that they did not have enough time to look at the lights, that they only did the brake work. Yet they charged me the same amount of money.

I told them that this was unacceptable in a survey sent to me by Tim Whalen, the service manager. He contacted me and said that he felt bad and wanted to make it right. I have an email from him, and a phone message that said he wanted to correct the problem, and he was sorry for having me come down there to fix specific problems which they had caused me.

He was unaware of the inability to fix the problems while the motorcycle was in their possession for 3 days. Now he says they want to fix the motorcycle, but the motorcycle has been shipped to Hawaii.

I told them at the time I made the service appointment a few weeks before Oct 3, that I was going to be shipping the motorcycle to Hawaii on Oct 5th, that there was no BMW service on the Island. And that I wanted all problems resolved before I left.

They knew about the lights not working properly, THEY CHOOSE, not to work on the lights at all. Citing they were to busy to get to it. Even though I was quoted for the repairs of the lights when I brought the motorcycle in for service on Oct X XXXX.

When I came to pick up the motorcycle on Oct 5, I was furious. I could not believe what I was being told. That they had plenty of other time to work on other motorcycle's, but NO time to fix the problems that they had caused me. Problems that I had to have another shop attempt to fix in Montana, but was unable to.

There is no excuse for their behavior. They should have fixed the problems that they caused me, years ago!

They had the time they needed to find out what was wrong, they choose to do nothing. And work on other motorcycles, that they could charge money for.

I still have to have the lights repaired.
