I opened my account for storage unit on 10-12011. I used a debit card to make the first and last month payment of $90. This money was not taken from my account until 12-1-2011. I paid my second month rent on 11-5-2011 with a check which was not cashed until 11-16-2011. I paid my next month rent on December 1st, also with a check. However, this is the date the company actually took the first debit out of my checking account, they took a second debit (not authorized since I had already delivered a check) on 12-6-2011. My check that I had delivered on December 1st wasn't cashed until 1-9-2011. Because we didn't need it anymore, I called and cancelled my storage unit on or about 12-21-2011. I rented that unit for just over 2 1/2 months and was billed five months for it. I have contacted [redacted], the owner, several times about the bookkeeping errors and have been told they don't keep records of debit cards (obviously they do) and that I would be refunded the two months extra I paid. I have contacted [redacted] several times by phone asking for the mailing address, so I can put the complaint in writing and never got it, or my refund. I am still waiting for that refund as of 3-21-12. I believe I have been more than patient. I want my money back and I want it back now. I have been patient more than long enough. I am including copies of the bank transactions available for review if needed.
