We were originally contacted by [redacted] on 6/26 regarding multiple charges to her card using our service. After reviewing her file, we found that 6 charges attempted on one card were declined by the processor and then a payment was successfully made using a different card. Since the original...

charges were all declined, we have no way to issue a refund as we never received any funds. When [redacted] provided a screenshot of her bank account it was clearly shown that the charges in question listed as pre-auth meaning that although her available balance had been effected, no funds had been removed from her account by us. We attempted to explain how pre-authorizations work and suggested she contact her bank but she continually placed back on us. I have attached a screenshot from our merchant processor as well as one from her bank clearly showing this to be the case. [redacted]ASenseOfHumorDriving.com

I understand the charges were a pre auth.  I'm done hearing abot the pre auth.  I have attempted to tell the business several times also that there was not a problem with my card.  There was a problem with the merchant's website declining my card for an invalid  reason (incorrect address entered on my part, which my address was entered correctly) and therefore causing the six pre auth in error that have still not cleared from my account.  There is an error in their website.  They merchant still has not addressed this issue and that is the main issue.  I am having to jump through hoops with my bank to get these charges cleared.  There were sufficient funds in my account.  There is no reason the card should have been declined, and if a charge is declined a pre auth doesn't still come out of my account.  I don't know how many more ways to say there is a glitch in the merchants payment processing website that needs to be fixed to prevent future headaches like these.  Pre auth or not, I'm still having to go through a lot of extra trouble to get them reversed.
