I apologize that a response was not sent sooner regarding this complaintWe have worked with the customer directly to resolve this issueWe had not received any payment from the customer until we resolved the complaint when I spoke to the customer personally and explained that we would not charge him for the drainfield assessmentThe customer was only charged for the cost of pumping the septic tank, not for the drainfield assessment, we removed that charge and only ran the customer’s credit card for the amount of the septic tank pumping and taxesThat card was processed on July 20th Thank you, Rich A+ Services Client Services

Revdex.com:Complaint ID: [redacted] I am sending the paperwork you requestedIn a conversation I had last week with a male from the septic company, he stated that because I signed the tech's paperwork and wrote him a check it showed a willingness on my behalf to payI want to state emphatically that that was not the case.I signed his paperwork and gave him a check merely to avoid conflict with himWhen he told me that he couldn't diagnose the problem much yet fix it yet I owed him $827, I felt so heavy hearted I just wanted him to leaveAt that point I would have signed almost anything he gaveme to be rid of himI simply thought that would be the fastest and easiest way for him to leaveI went in and called his company to file a complaint within minutes of his leaving and then followed that with contacting the bank.In America, when we encounter a company with questionable business practices, we always have the hope of recourse and justice and it was with those two that I gave my signature, not in approvalI had no idea what the paperwork said, just that he would leave if I signed it.Thank you for your consideration, ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I appreciate the response of A+ to my claim However, as with many other parties that became involved in the very long process, it was handed off the another person to be resolved Consequently, some of A+'s facts are incorrect as portions of my initial complaint to the previous general manager were not passed along To end this long and very trying ordeal I will accept the "in good faith" refund of $requested. With thanks and respect, [redacted]

This person was given an option sheet up front and agreed to the price and the work at the time before we startedI feel the refund expected on the back end of a job is very dis respectfulnessSorry this person had every option to send us on our way before the work was performedNo company would have performed this repair for $Sorry

Our technician arrived on site to pump the tank due to the homeowner scheduling a pumping appointmentWhen he arrived on site, he pumped the septic tank and pump chamber for relief due to surfacing sewageHe pumped the tanks so the homeowner could use the system again and so he could make sure the
influent line wasn’t plugged as well as check the bafflesThe outlet baffle was hanging off of the wall in the tankHe recommended a slip on baffle because it was a lower cost option than having a new outlet baffle installedThe homeowner stated that she was concerned about the cost so the technician on site informed her of the financing that we have available so as to put her at ease, not because he was trying to make a saleThe pump was not engaging and the tank was floodedThe pump chamber was pumped in order to prevent the solids that were in the pump chamber from being pumped to the drainfield causing more issues. The homeowner states that, “the system was no closer to functioning than when the technician arrived” and “she made an emergency call in a panic” because of “raw sewage/surfacing sewage”. By having the tanks pumped, it rectified this issue and allowed us to inspect the internal components of the tankThe homeowner appeared to be happy with the service and requested the pump assessment that the technician recommended to be scheduled and insisted payment for the assessment be taken after the assessment was completedShe ended up cancelling the assessment after the technician leftShe also put a stop payment on her checkWe have since incurred dumping fees for the disposal of her septic wasteWe are very sorry to hear about the homeowner's loss and that she feels her situation was used against herWith septic issues, the timing is never convenient and I can assure you that her situation was not used against her

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I will never call this company again. I am not being disrespectful. I feel you charge way too much. I even shared that with the plumber. I called a few days later to ask to see your pricing sheet but was told you didn't have one. Which is odd. I was told you go by a book. Well, I still haven't seen that. I am just in shock in how much I was charged. My fault that I didn't ask for the price up front when I called the first time. My fault that I thought it would be around $because two other people I know only got charged that amount for the same problem through another plumbing company. This was a bad experience financially for me. Won't do it again. Not a good experience whatsoever. Sincerely,*** ***

A+ Services arrived to *** *** *** * *** ** *** on 12/22/to look at a leaking water heater. The water heater was older and had been leaking for some time and needed to be replaced. The water heater was a small under counter unit that is not a typical stock item and had to
ordered and delivered the next day
The customer was presented with the price on the 22nd and they agreed. On the 23rd A+ Services returned to install the new water heater. Due to new efficiency ratings on water heaters it was discussed that the new heater would not fit completely in the current cabinet space. Also it was discussed that the floor and surrounding area was very wet
On the 28th A+ Services was called back due to a slow drip coming from a flex line. After inspection found a slow drip coming from the supply line that left a silver dollar sized puddle on the top of the heater and a small amount of water on the floor
The previous general manager handled the complaint from the beginning and we are currently unaware of what transpired with their interaction. I see that a $gift certificate was offered and declined
Taking over this complaint without knowing the previous dealings over the last months I will issue the requested refund of $in good faith
Respectfully
Tim S***,

This person was given an option sheet up front and agreed to the price and the work at the time before we started. I feel the refund expected on the back end of a job is very  dis respectfulness. Sorry this person had every option to send us on our way before the work was performed. No company...

would have performed this repair for $40.00. Sorry.

I am rejecting this response because: although the company attempted to defend its technician, the fact still remains that he misrepresented himself regarding his ability to repair my malfunctioning septic system.I allowed him to work on my septic system in good faith that he knew what he was doing and was able to repair it. I was even told by the dispatcher that he could which was also not true. He never disclaimed to me that he himself could not diagnose much less repair my system until AFTER the work was done and he had ran me up an $827 bill. When I pressed him regarding the pump, he told me I would have to get the "experts" for that. Being of a heavy heart at this point knowing that he had just ran me up an $827 bill and I still had a malfunctioning septic system and sewage in my yard, I paid him simply to get rid of him and then went in and called his company to complain. I was told that a manager would call me back within a couple of days to hear my complaint but that never happened. In fact, I didnt hear a word from the company until an accountant called to say the bank had returned my check. A couple of days after that, a male called to say the company had responded to the complaint that I registered with the Revdex.com.I did call out the "experts" from a different company a few days after the incident who told me the work the tech did wasnt necessary to fix the particular problem causing the sewage to back up in my yard, something the tech admitted to himself after he had done the work. Customer called A Plus for service. A Plus Tech was dispatched to the residence and inspected the problem that was at hand, customer was given a couple option of what could be done to fix problem and also the option to say no and get someone else to perform work. Customer chose the option to repair...

the faucet and signed the option sheet full well knowing the price for the service. Nothing was done behind the seen and all pricing and work being done was up front.  Customer agreed to this before work was ever started. Don"t know what else to say. A Plus does everything it can to leave responsibility up to the customer for the service we provide.
