Review: My wife and I ordered a bus from Sillhouette Tours to take guests from Manhattan, NY to our wedding in [redacted] and back. We paid $600 for the roundtrip. We had specified (and we have documentation to prove it) that we wanted the bus to pick people up at [redacted] at 5:00 pm. Our guests showed up there and there was no bus waiting for them. When we had someone call the bus company, we found out that the driver was actually waiting at [redacted], which is probably about an hour or so away from there. Since we couldn't delay our wedding, we told our guests to take cabs at a considerable expense to us. On the way back, the bus did make it to the wedding venue on time, but they sent us a bus whose headlights were not working. Our guests felt very unsafe driving home without headlights on a dark highway. This experience was totally unacceptable and was a nightmare to deal with on our wedding day. I called up to ask for a refund and the assistant said that she asked the [redacted] and he could refund $95. Since I didn't use the service one way, I said that this wasn't acceptable and I asked to speak with the [redacted]. It has been several weeks and after trying to reach out to him multiple times, I have not had any returned calls. I believe that I am due a full refund since they did not take my guests on one leg of the trip and they used a broken bus, which is illegal to drive, on the other half, but I'd be happy if they just apologized and offered me half of my money back.
