A-Site Paving Reviews (%countItem)

On July 25, 2019, my tenant called me and told me *** from *** wanted to talk to me. *** said his paving company had a little excess hot asphalt from a nearby job, and that he could use the small amount of excess to pave the entryway apron to my small Plaza. I asked how much and he said $2 per sq. ft. and that he had about 1,000 sq. ft. excess and asked for $2,400. I told him I only had $1,800 in my annual budget. He agreed to lower the price to $2,000 if I would agree to do the job right away since it was hot asphalt. We agreed to $2,000 for about 1,000 sq. ft. of paving. We met, he told me the hot asphalt trucks parked on my lot were empty other than the excess hot asphalt he dumped in a pile before he and his crew spread and rolled it. I took a picture of the excess pile that I had agreed to pay for. He promised to do a good job and said he needed water for his roller. I hooked up a hose behind the building and went back with two from his crew and they filled the roller. *** called and showed me the work he and his crew did, which looked good at first and as we agreed around the entryway and the excess hot asphalt pile was no longer there. I went back behind the building to remove the hose and take care of something and get a check for $2,000 to pay ***. When I returned, *** and his crew had unexpectedly paved a very large section of my parking lot without authorization. I could not believe it. Just then, two strangers approached me and said that I owed them for all the paving done. I asked them who they were and where *** was. One of them got a measuring roller and asked me to write down the sections sq. ft. He then said after calculation, that I owed them for 12,000 sq. ft. at $1.50 psf or $18,000. I refused and asked them to get ***. *** came over and told them that we had agreed to only $2,000 for the entryway. Then he told them I had authorized the extra work, which was a lie. *** then walked away, got in his car and drove off the property, leaving me to argue with the two men. They told me *** was their uncle, and *** and his brother, were the *** boss. I said *** just verified the $2,000 amount of the job and I refused to pay them. *** said I owed $18,000! I refused and said I only had $1,800 in the annual budget for paving this year. Mr. said he wasn't giving away free paving and he threatened to tear up the parking lot and leave the asphalt in a pile on my lot unless. I have 15 business tenants and their customers use the lot so that would become a terrible situation if he tore up my property. I realized that I was probably going to have a major repair bill for their damage, legal bills to sue and problems with my tenants if I did not find a way to get the large *** crew to leave without damage. When they realized I was not going to pay them $18,000, they lowered the demand to $12,000 and said they had asphalt expenses and crew expenses of $2,500 per day and did not want to spend the extra hours removing all but $2,000 of the paving. I thought about the mess ***'s deception had created. The situation became terrible as I had already budgeted the funds they were demanding to other things so it would create a hardship to pay $16,000 extra. I felt extorted but told them to remove all but the $2,000 around the entryway. Then they said I could owe them $2,000 if I paid them $10,000. I again refused after thinking about it some more. They then lowered the demand to $10,000, which was 400% more than I had agreed to. They had paved sections of my lot that did not need paving so tearing it up would be damaging and look embarrassing. *** swindled me and the *** brothers were demanding money from me under duress. At that point, I realized they would not go away unless I paid them more than I had agreed to. I had to use two different accounts because I only agreed to ***'s $2,000 agreement as all I needed before the swindle happened. That small pile of excess hot asphalt in the picture magically paved 12,000 sq. ft. after *** told me the trucks were empty. Also, there is no way I would hire *** to pave had I been told up front the job was $18,000. This deceptive sales practice made me ill. After I realized they and their crew could retaliate if I did not pay, I decided under duress to pay $10,000; making them sign that nothing more was owed. I have since filed a police report, I have filed a complaint with the attorney general of *** and one with the attorney general in ***. ***'s cell number starts in (***). *** is a *** number and *** is filed in *** and it was the name on one of their big trucks. I read that *** has a Sales Practices Law that *** and his company broke by using deceptive sales practices to get an extra $8,000 that we did not agree to. I am filing this complaint with the Revdex.com on the *** after I learned that their asphalt trucks are registered to A-Site Paving LLC and not to *** in ***. Mr. is listed as the owner of A-Site Paving on the Revdex.com site. ***, therefore, failed to disclose the true company that was going to do the work before I agreed to terms with him. Turns out that *** is A.K.A. A-Site Paving LLC. *** and the *** brothers broke the law in *** and they now need to repay the $8,000 they took after a deceptive sales practice caused duress. The paving job was not completed well either. They left many of the asphalt edges un-feathered and did not seal the edges anywhere. I am shocked by such bad business conduct.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***. Please add your rejection comments below.
This answer is a lie and the person writing this lie did not mention his or her name as a sign of shame about their lie. A-Site Paving is now lying to the Revdex.com. My records prove both checks paid to ***, a.k.a. A-Site Paving that were only given under duress after their paving swindle were cashed and the overpayment of $8,000 has not been refunded as requested in my complaint to the Revdex.com. A-Site has also failed to address its theft by deceptive sales practice when Mr. demanded $18,000 for a $2,000 total job agreed to with their salesman ***. The law in *** states that A-Site Paving is not entitled to keep its ill gotten gains. I now make a second request to them to do the right thing and return the unauthorized portion of the money taken. Return the $8,000 now and stop lying to the Revdex.com and the public about not collecting both checks. This new lie about not collecting the checks is more evidence that you did lie about the sale when you agreed to a $2,000 job and then paved too much that was unauthorized. This second lie can easily be proven as a lie against you. If you continue to lie to the Revdex.com about not collecting on both checks already and also about your deceptive sales practices, then I will continue to reject your responses until you return the unauthorized $8,000 of overpayment that you have in your possession wrongfully taken under *** law.
