A Small Fishing Boat

A verbal agreement was made re the purchase price for a boat being consigned at this business. Business owner broke verbal agreement.

Company owner of a Small Fishing Boat consigns boats for sale, and he served as intermediary between the boat owner and myself regarding the offers and counter-offers. A final price was agreed upon by both myself and the owner of the Boat. A time was set up for that same day for bringing cash to pay for the boat and to pick up the boat at that time. Upon arrival, the business owner stated that a second offer was made, and that we no longer had a deal. No request had been made for a deposit from the business owner, as only telephone calls were made re the bidding and accepted price. The business owner has now re-listed the boat for sale at at unspecified price. He displayed poor business practices, and went canceled the verbal agreement between the seller and myself so to purchase the boat himself, in an attempt to make a greater profit.
