A Smooth Move

A smooth move was exactly that. They worked hard and did not drag their feet like typical moving companies. We were able to move from South Phoenix to Downtown Phoenix under 2 hours. There were no hidden fees and the movers were very friendly. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth move.

I used A Smooth Move and was extremely happy with my experience. I moved from a third story condo into a home with stairs. The men who were moving my belongings were extremely careful and didnt damage any of my items. They had to go up and down a TON of stairs and maneuver large furniture around the turns in the stairway and never damaged anything. They were all friendly and they were fairly priced. I will use this company again for future moves!

Darren and Johnny were nothing short of brilliant. They were in and out and packed and unpacked in under 4 hours (for my 3 bedroom home..1,800sqft) they were professional, polite, and quick! They wouldn't take a break even for an offered bagel or doughnut until it was all finished!

This was the best idea me and my girlfriend ever had cause my dad was about to rent a u-haul for this massive move. I'm glad I convinced him to go with A Smooth Move!!

Darren at A Smooth Move helped me with a very difficult project of moving a piano out of a second story condominium. Not only did he accomplish this task, he did so in a most professional and careful manner. His crew was outstanding and the whole experience was excellent!

A Smooth Move completed two moves for my family in 2014. BOTH jobs were absolutely perfect. They arrived on time, worked fast, were careful with all items, and demonstrated professionalism and friendliness. Price was very reasonable and there were no "extra" costs added. A Smooth Move movers were fabulous when we recently moved from one home to another. Darren and the movers were professional, quick and courteous. They moved a heavy safe from our second story home without any hesitation. They wrapped our furniture so beautifully and moved it as if it were their own. I am a contractor that hired a smooth move to clear out a home of furniture before setting a tile floor, I was vary hesitant to move this clients furniture myself because everything she owned was vary high end and in pristine condition. A Smooth Move went above and beyond my expectations with the move, they brought in boxes with hanging rods to hang all of her clothes, wrapped all furniture in moving pads and plastic wrap, the job was well supervised and professional the guys he brings are strong and respectful. I highly recommend hiring a smooth move on your next move.

A Smooth Move provided the best moving experience we have ever had. The owner kept us informed of the schedule and the moving crew was efficient and professional. They were careful with our possessions and helpful with setting things up in the new location, which was on a third floor. The cost was exactly as quoted. Given all the horror stories out there about moving companies, it was wonderful to have a reliable company with integrity and compassion about how difficult a move can be.

This was the second time I used A Smooth Move, and again, everything was perfect! My 2 movers - [redacted] and [redacted] were extremely professional and very friendly. They arrived right on time and went straight to work. Once we got to the new home, I (female) was there with them alone for the unload - I never felt uneasy or uncomfortable. Once they were done, they had me double check their truck and furniture to make sure everything was removed and just as I wanted it. I was checked-out and paid with in minutes. Great company, great employees, definitely will use them again in the future!

A Smooth Move recently moved both my sister and I. The movers were timely, efficient, and caring. They managed to move more of my items in a shorter amount of time than initially anticipated. In addition to being competent professionals, they had a positive, can-do attitude and a great sense of humor. They were gentle and careful with all of my belongings and had foresight when placing them in my new place. Working with A Smooth Move made me feel relaxed- the entire process was such a breeze. The price was unbeatable, too. I will be telling my friends, family, neighbors, and anyone willing to listen how fantastic A Smooth Move truly is.

Move: August 2 from[redacted] to [redacted] Owner: Tony Stringfellow1) I booked the move on 7/10/12 for 8/2/12 at 9am. Cost: $80/hour for 3 men + $60 trip fee. I confirmed the time the afternoon of 8/1/12 with the owner, Tony. The morning of the move, Tony called to say the truck broke down, but one of the movers ([redacted]) said that Tony "fibs a lot", and that he'd actually double booked them that morning. Movers arrived at 1:30pm.2)The moving crew ([redacted] & [redacted]) arrived with no dollies or straps, which meant they had to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to carry the heavy pieces of furniture, washer, dryer, etc. 3) The moving crew left a room full of furniture behind, that they couldn't fit onto the truck. This is after all three of them spent 30-40 minutes standing at the back of the truck, staring at the contents, trying to figure out how to configure it. I had to borrow a van to move the rest of the furniture myself.4) moving from a 2BR apt to a 2BR house took from 1:30pm - 7:30pm. the crew left my house in Florence at 4:00pm and showed up in Fairfax at 5:30pm. They insisted that they were only gone 30 minutes. It took me 30 minutes to drive that distance. They were gone for 1.5 hours.5) while they were gone, the crew called me to remind me that they only take cash. Tony never told me this. I told the crew that I had some cash, but would have to write a check for the remainder. They told me to go to an ATM. I felt like my belongings were being held hostage.6) the crew left my couch pillows on the curb for the duration of the move. now all the pillows have black streaks on them.
