First and foremost, A-Snap plumbing service takes great pride in providing exceptional customer service to all of our customersWe apologize for having Mr[redacted] be upset at the outcome of his repairA-Snap plumbing service did clear debris from his drain line and we explained that his problem was in the efficiency of his toiletHis toilet was not flushing his waste in the 1st 2-seconds of the flushing process of his toiletWhen this occurs it is safe to say that once entering the sewer line under his home the water will leave the wasteThe consequence is the waste will harden and cause a dam effect under his home leading to a clogThe customer had lost his vortex to his toilet and the waste was leaving the toilet with less than 1/gallon of waterOur recommendation was to replace the toilet to eliminate this problem in the future and resolve the real problem that Mr [redacted] was facingA-Snap plumbing service shared all of this information with American Home Shield, and the warranty company said that Mr [redacted] toilet would not be covered and we would have to charge the customer for the toiletMr [redacted] shared his opinion of the warranties decision and he would call the warranty back on his coverageWe were called back almost a week later and asked to go back as a recall and to install a Builders grade toilet and we didWe as a service vendor are often held responsible for the warranty coverage agreements and we at times are measured unfavorable due to customers policy coverageWe hope to leave all our service visits in a favorable was but without proper presentation of the problem and good understanding of what is needed to correct the problem, the homeowner takes responsibility for home ownership leaving it up to the warranty company in which in this case will always be damaging to the repair companyA-Snap plumbing service returned to the customer's home and installed a new toilet (Builders Grade) and the efficiency of the toilet water went to it's 100% full capacitySometimes the outcome is good for everybody outside of the service company, when the warranty company and the customer, in this case, Mr [redacted] come to an agreement about their coverageA-Snap plumbing service cleared the line from debris and we suggested to have a new toilet installed to the warranty company and to the customer, Mr [redacted] The agreement was made, the charge to customer was only $which today he hopes to not payWe cleared his sewer line and installed a new toilet after making two trips to his homeAnd again, the additional $charge was to provide the customer for a toilet that the customer wanted not for a toilet that we were going to install as a Builders gradeI fail to see where A-Snap plumbing service is scamming this customerA-Snap plumbing service is a great plumbing company and we will focus on providing excellent customer service to all of our customersThank you for allowing us to respond to this complaint

This business came to my home collected a $service fee and then never returned to fix my problemThey scheduled a Saturday to return and no call, no showedThey don't return phones calls

The person who wrote this response is not the person that came to fix the toiletThe person that wrote this is assuming that the technician(***) explained everythingHe did notHe fell to explain everything that was in that responseAs I stated in the original complaint the toilet was not flushing the way it shouldEven after you supposedly cleared the drain underneath the house the toilet was still flushing the way it was when we first reported itWhy you say that you cleared debris, I did not see any debris that was clearedYour technician might have told you that, and also told American Home Shield that there was three blockages and there was notIf there was a blockage that means that my sink will be plugged up also because it also drains into the main drainAnd I did not have a problem with my sink and my tub was also drainingThe whole problem was with the toilet itselfSo toilet should have replaced from the first visitWe paid American Home Shield our deductible and then you charges an additional $to remove a toilet that should have been covered if it was replacedBut the way that your technician word stuff to the warranty department in makes it seem that that's a bigger problem than there wasIt's called a RoosYou use technical words to make it seem like you have to do more work and then the reality is is that you don'tSo your company is fraudulent and scam peopleAmerican Home Shield told us that that toilet should have been replaced the first visitI have to call American Home Shield a second time so that a snap would come out here, but Ace not refused to come out hereAnd I have that conversation recorded for everybody to hear it if they would like toNeedless to say a snap is very unprofessional company, the owner is very unprofessional and unethical the plumbers board will get a complaint about a snapAll I can say is that as of today the owner still has not called to ask me about what happenedComplaints about them with American Home Shield that is when they finally came out here to replace the toiletNow my phone is working fine but it took a week for them to come out here so for a week we were having to go to other places that use the toiletJust because the owner was told the technician not to come over hereI have nothing good to say about a snap or the owner of the company and for a lack of Choice words all I will say is that they are no goodAnd they've done this to other peopleIf you check their page on Yelp you will see that other people have had the same problemThey cannot get ahold of anyone at the officeThe jerk people around and and them out of money that they shouldn't have had to payServices that are covered through the warranty departmentAll anybody has to do is check the reviews on this no good company

The agreement was made, the charge to customer was only $185.00 which today he hopes to not pay. We cleared his sewer line and installed a new toilet after making two trips to his home. And again, the additional $191.00 charge was to provide the customer for a toilet that the customer wanted not for a toilet that we were going to install as a Builders grade. I fail to see where A-Snap plumbing service is scamming this customer. A-Snap plumbing service is a great plumbing company and we will focus on providing excellent customer service to all of our customers. Thank you for allowing us to respond to this complaint.

Issue has been resolved with the customer. A-Snap plumbing did not hide any fees from the person issuing the complaint. The customer as well as the home warranty was made well aware of all costs. On our defense, we have a signature on file stating that all fees were explained thoroughly,...

therefore if the customer says he did not understand the increased charges, then why was the service order form signed. It's not up to the technicians' to make sure it's the homeowner that signs the forms, as long as we get a signature stating all fees were explained.
