Review: I rented a storage unit from the business and have yet to recieve my security deposit back. I vacated the unit, after the proper notice, May 31, 2013. My security deposit was promised to me within 21 days. It is now January of 2014, and I have made over 16 phone calls and messages to the business. Each time they took my information and the man said he would send it right out. He didn't, and to date, I still haven't received anything.Desired Settlement: Landlords owe their tenants double their money back when not refunding within 30 days. I want double my security ($62.00 original deposit) plus interest over the last 8 months.

Our policy which is clearly stated to all customers is that we need 30 days advanced written notice of a vacate. According to our records there was no written vacate notice received from this customer. After further review, there is a note in the account that the customer was called in June 2013 when the unit was found unlocked and empty. The customer was told at that time that we had not received written notice. If the customer is willing to submit a vacate notice in writing, we will be able to legally clear our books and return the security deposit.

Review: I've had a storage unit with this company for a year and a half. I was supposed to receive a free month rent over 6 months ago. No one is ever at the office and when I call, I'm always told that I'll get a call back and then I dont. My account is now late and I'm being charged a late fee when the [redacted] said she would handle it. I've called over and over just to be told that they'll call back, but they don't. I'm planning to leave and I don't want to pay a month that I'm not required to pay.Desired Settlement: I'm requesting a refund because the late payment calls are exceedingly annoying and will have to make a payment for them to stop
Review: I moved out of my storage unit 12/**/13. I gave 3 weeks notice that I was moving out. Since then, they have been charging me $115 a month plus fees. The sum is up to $325. I called to resolve the issue and the receptionist told me that since there was a mess in the hallway that was not mine that they would charge me $115 per month for as long as it takes for it to go into collections. I did not have a contract lease. It was only month to month. It cannot be legal for them to charge me monthly for the unit I have not had since last year.Desired Settlement: Stop charging me monthly and erase the balance on the account since I was paid up to date until I left.
