A-Spec Flooring Surfaces

We hired Elias A***, owner of A-Spec Flooring to do the flooring on the new home we just purchasedThe Scope of work included an installation of an Elite Crete Systems Reflector Enhancer FloorPer the quote we would have an industrial grade, seamless floor with easy maintenanceOnce Elias told us the floor was complete, we went to the house to check on the work that was performedWe immediately noticed numerous areas throughout the entire house with defects and flawsWe contacted Elias with our concernsHe told us not to worry about the bubbles that we were seeingWe were told that those would go away over timeHe compared the floors to painting a car, saying that it was impossible to keep all the dust outAfter further inspection, we noticed that there were chunks of drywall in the floor, areas where the holes and cracks were noticeable and cleat marksWe told Elias that we would not be able to make final payment until all of the repairs were made and the work was completed to our satisfactionAfter discussing our concerns with Elias he came and made some repairs on the floorEven after the repairs were made, we felt the floor was not completeIt was definitely not what we agreed to pay $7,for! The fact that Elias said the floors were done in the first place should say something about his workHe was trying to get away with doing a less than average jobThere are still bumps, cleat marks and we can still see the cracksElias offered us a "voucher" to come back a re do the entire floor within months, only if we made the final paymentWe felt as though the work was not complete and per an email from Elias, the floors were not completed to the standards we wantedAfter a few emails back and forth, Elias threatened to put a lien on our houseWe felt trapped and did not know what to doWe just purchased this house to raise our family inWe didn't want anything to happen to itNot knowing what to do, we agreed to pay Elias $1,He did not deserve another dollar from us after the work he did, but unfortunately we felt as though we had no choiceI would never recommend this company or Elias to anyone
