In July, 2007, this company installed an EIFS stucco type finish to the front of my house. The product carries a lifetime warranty. In April, 2012, I contacted Mr. [redacted] and indicated that a crack had appeared in the product. He came to my house on April 17, 2012 and indicated that the repair was covered under the warranty and would be completed. I followed up with him by phone on May 7, 2012 and he indicated that they hoped to have some leftover color from another job to match the color and the work would be completed by the end of last summer. I contacted him again on July 12, 2012 and he once again confirmed that the work was covered under the warranty and would be completed by the end of last summer. I left messages for him on September 4 and 6, 2012. I also left a message at the office (440) 975-0000 on Sept. 7, 2012. [redacted] called me back on Sept. 10 and promised the work would be scheduled. It wasn't. I l spoke with him again this year (March 18, 2013) and he said he would come out and take another look. On April 29, 2013 I left a message indicating that I would submit this complaint along with one to the Ohio AG if this work wasn't scheduled and completed immediately. I also sent an e-mail to [redacted] (Manager) on the same day indicating the same thing. [redacted] stopped by on May 4, 2013 and looked at the crack, indicating that it looked worse than the last time he saw it. He promised that the work would be scheduled and he would call me with a date. On may 7, 2013 I left him another message stating that if I didn't have a scheduled date by the end of business, I would file this complaint. I haven't heard from him. I have been very considerate and understanding over all of this time, but it would appear that this company has no intension of honoring the warranty.
