Hi this is [redacted] responding to [redacted] complante about are co astarbath&kitcheninc we textured coated here bath room before christmas december 2016and let her know we would be back the next day the whether has been cold that night when I arived we noticed the texture coat did not dry the home is built in the 1960s and has very poor heating so we took a heater and fan to help dry because we are leaving for christmas break thru new year I returned later to look at and still not dry so I informed her we would need to return on the 2nd day of janto paint she was not to happy with it .We returned the 2nd of jan as promised in pm she need to buy cabnet which we offered to install.So know we are painting bath room and she decides she know wants celling and walls different colors we paint walls and could not do celling and never talk about doing in a two tone so I let her know we will need to return and then she gets mad so she says she will pay us for work we did so know in short she only paid us for work we did why is saying we rip her off there is was still work to be done but she says she would finish it im know happy because she know wanting more things done then we bargain for so she paid us for work we did only textured bath room walls and celling and painted walls not celling this house has very little work done to it and I will not go back because she indicated from the begging she has very little money to spend Note; been doing this way to long when I know when some one is trying to take advantage of us we finished work that she paid us for only and since then she has know gone on next door neibor and saying bad things about us and how she hates men and contractors I should sue her statments Note; have only great reveives except her so this will give you a good idea of her thank you [redacted] President of astarbath&kitcheninc

I am rejecting this response because: *** never told us no warranty that is a totally statementAfter they did the work we left the house closed for three days as they requestedWhen we came back to the house we found the tubs were very rough to the touch like sand paperThat is when we contacted JesseHe said he would be there Nov the 8th to look at the problem and never cameHe then said her would be there Nov the 9th and never cameWe called *** again and that is when he said it must have been something we did and I told him how we left the houseAfter that he would not return our phone calls about when he would come and look at the problemHe only contacted us after I filed a complaint with the Revdex.comAs another note he was also in the area the whole time and not in San Antonia which really doesn't matter if he did the work he needs to stand behind itHe still has not committed to a date when he will come backIn my opinion there is not enough product on the bathtub causing the roughnessSome areas are good while others are roughIf it was something we did it should be bad all overWe are still waiting for the situation to be resolvedAs of now we can't proceed with any repairs in the bathroom until the tubs are finished correctlyIt makes no sense to put new vanities in if they are going to have to spay the tubs againAgain no work or people were in the house for three days as they requested

Yes we did work *** *** !st of all we offered to do tile grouting be cause no one else would except one otheir coI let her know tile grout is very small lines and we would be as careful as posible and some tile may get damged due to being very old so she new before we started work that tile
was a problem but she still wanted us to do work NOTE: other co,came in a price twice as high as we did it for we spent around hr,s total to make her happy so we did not take advantage of her more trying to help NOTE:she tried to do work her self and then coved it up with caulk my man told me it had damaged already when removing old caulk that she had applyed to cover it up NOTE: We returned times to make sure she was happy and insted at the end yells at my man and tells him he not very profesional she an older lady with a lot of mode swings my man gets great reviews and complements on hard he works and sad to see she know writes to the Revdex.com and makes us look bad Sorry she does not deserve any refund at all Thank you for your understanding I hope *** *** astarbath&kitcheninc

Hi *** we just spoke about *** and *** *** complaint #*** We returned in december and did a full redo on there tub and showers after they had made dust during there remodeling at no charge witch caused the they live in angleton tx hour away from san antonio tx and gave them a great deal also letting them know at that price no warranty Note we did go back and fix problem at no charge

Yes we did work for the ***s and gave them a great deal on both tub and showers !/off on each really great deal considering they where in bad shape and let them know at that price no warrentyWe are in san antonio and they are very fair south houston 1/hour drive we arrived on time and
finished the job the same day they where happy and paid us Note they are renovating the house and doing work them self,s and we ask them not to make any dust until the next daySo know I get a call saying there is dust in tub and showers I let them know I will look at when im back in area I really feal that they have made the problem them self,s and know complaining to the Revdex.com I will look at the problem I feel they have made when im in the area They are still working on the home and there is no big rush sincerly *** *** A star bath & kitchen IncHave a Great Day!

I am rejecting this response because: He did come back after a long period of trying to get him to return phone calls and return to repair his shoddy work. After he finally returned months later he did redo the tubs after figuring out he could not just sand them because of the huge puddles his product left. He does not mention that in his response. As for us causing the problem that is a totally false statement. After letting the second attempt dry for 5 days we returned to the house to find the tubes in equally bad shape. I tried to contact him and as expected there was no reply. I also told him it is not my fault that he took a job so far from his home. He advertised doing repairs in this area that is how we contacted him. At this point I will either replace the tubes or buy the product and do it my self and probably get a better outcome. I would advise that anyone using this business to check his complaints. After the fact we found several people have had the same experience as us. If he keeps up these false statements and blaming us I will consider action in a small claims court. I have everything documented with pictures and records of all communication with time and dates. Just admit you messed up and fix the problem and move on, don't blame others and try and not honor your work. I hope this helps someone else to make a better decision.
