AStar has been great to work with...we just completed our second move with them. We had to schedule two separate moves, 1st to our rental while our home was being built, next to our home. Each move was pretty much seamless. AStar's team was efficient, courteous and fair. We highly recommend.

We were very satisfied with A Star movers. They took the time to properly package our belongings and ensured a smooth move for our family of 6. It was stressful thinking about having to move our big family, but A star elevated that by helping us get everything unpacked and in the appropriate place. Thanks again A Star!

Scheduled for today 3/30 between 1pm and 4pm. STILL NO SHOW AND NO CONTACT with movers, horrible. It is now after 6pm, house is full of boxes, everything is packed, items taken to new home, NO A Star movers. Really!?

Hello ***, My name is Michael and I was the crew chief for your move that day. If I remember correctly we did get to you late that day; We had given you a time window based on the information we received from the customer who had already scheduled their moving services for that morning. We had expected to be done with the job then head over to yours between the times we had promised you. The morning move took longer than expected due to over inventory. Unfortunately this things happen from time to time in the moving/ transportation business. Sometimes we have customer who do not disclose a complete inventory resulting in having to extend their scheduled time. I would like to apologize again to you and let you know I understand the frustration you felt on that stressful day. I hope that the service we provided and the adjustment at the end your move was sufficient to make up for us being late that day. Again, thank you for your business and if you or any of your family and friends need moving services in the future. You consider calling us again. I will personally make sure we exceed your expectations and provide you with the best moving experience possible.

Horrible experience!!!!
I was scheduled for a move and was told it was a three man team with a truck. On the day (which was a Tuesday) only two men arrived and informed me that with the amount of stuff I had, it was a three person job so they needed to see if they could find a third person. I was informed (via text) that a third person could not be found and my move will have to be rescheduled. I tried calling Alex (the person who initially contacted me to no avail) and had to very last minute find another moving company for the following day.
This was a really horrible experience and will not recommend this company for anyone moving

Hello ***, I would like to apologize to you for the miss-understanding. Sometimes we get so busy we all the moves we service on the daily basis. That sometimes we have to send the closest crew available to a particular job due to either having the original crew scheduled to service your to stay longer on their earlier job. And then try at least to not cancel on our customers or re-schedule a move and provide you with a fresh crew the next day. I understand that sometimes our customers do not have the option to stay an extra day depending on their situation. You have mentioned a three men crew and all we had at moment was a 2 men crew available. In this case your hourly rate would have gone down to keep your moving charges the same as our initial estimated total. Our 2 men crews can definitely handle a job sized for a 3 men just extending the move by a few minutes not hours. And still keep the price in the same range. Again *** my apologies for the bad experience you had with our company and thank you for giving us the chance to serve move . We wish luck in you your new home.

I was originally quoted a hundred an hr for the move And had it in writing, it wasn't until payment time I was quoted 180 more than what I agreed to if I stayed within the time frame which I did, I was told upon payment the move took 2.5 hrs when it took less than 2, with me helping too the truck was packed within 30 min even, we each went back to drop off location 15 min away and they took 45 min to get there and included that time in my moving time.. 2 of the three workers actually worked hard while one watched me work harder than them.. We settled at 119 a hr which was still more than the price I was told it would be.. They may be the cheapest around but it ends up being just the same as a company that's more expensive. I really hope people consider even if their quotes in writing it'll still change at the last minute..

Hello ***, Our company does not do flat rates we work by the our and we setup the crews based on inventory that our customers disclose to us at the time of booking. Our quotes are exactly what we say they are estimates(meaning an estimation of what we think a job should take based on inventory given to us by you). That is what the word estimate means to us and probably 99.99% of human kind. We needed to ad a men to your crew to keep the job around the estimated quote and efficiently move you. And once my men realized that your inventory was actually bigger than the inventory given to us by you the customer at the time of booking, thats when we knew we needed that extra men. Obviously Your initial hourly rate had to increase based on the new size of the crew. The hourly rate for our 3 men crew is $149 per hour but we gave you a $20 discount to help with your situation. My apologies for not meeting your standards and we wish you luck in your home.
