Hi my name is [redacted] Ive been a new homeowner for over a year now. Recently I received a phone call from my Mortgage Co. that my insurance was or has lapsed and I soon would be placed on a "Force placed" insurance not of my choosing at of course a higher premium. I of course was shocked to find this out, as I have been in my home for over a year now have my insurance escrowed to come out of my payment each month, and have never missed a single payment?!? - So naturally I try to contact my Insurance Agent that sold me the above referenced policy ([redacted]), the only number I had for her was a personal cell phone number, that I was given last minute at the day of closing when I bought my home. I tried contacting her on the following times/ attempts: 2/21/2012 @ 4pm (txt message)2/22/2012 @ 1pm (phone call/ voice mail left)2/22/2012 @ 2:30pm (phone call/ voice mail left)2/22/2012 @ 3:00pm (phone call/ voice mail left)2/22/2012 @ 4:30pm (phone call/ voice mail left)2/22/2012 @ 5:00pm (txt received) I finally was able to get ahold of [redacted] by reaching out to her co worker [redacted], who shares a Real Estate office with [redacted] but does not do insurance! She was kind enough to relay a message to [redacted] and even though I asked for a phone call from Ms. [redacted], I only received a "spotty" text message at best from [redacted] saying yes, she knows about the problem with my insurance and she's working on it. After 2 or 3 more attempts I was finally able to get [redacted] (my insurance agent) on the phone briefly, she told me it wasn't her fault it was on my mortgage company's end, I asked her then why were they the ones calling me about no coverage in the 1st place? she said she didn't know, perhaps my mortgage company made a mistake and didn't want to admit it. I thought this was very strange, I then asked her for the direct 800 telephone# to my insurance company (not the agent) which Is San Antonio Indemnity Company [redacted] She said "I'm not going to give you that." I asked her why? she responded you can go through me your agent if there are any problems, we'll figure it out together 1st then decide if a phone call is needed to the Insurance Co. I told here there is a problem and I'm not happy with her resolution and I would like that # now, or I am switching insurance companies, she said "Fine, go ahead and switch, your too much trouble that what I'm being paid for anyway!!" and she hung up on me!?! After repeated attempts (with no avail) I tried calling [redacted] back today, as my insurance concerns still have not been addressed or resolved and I feel this treatment is totally uncalled for, unprofessional, and not fair, I feel that [redacted] Crasco has no business with a Professional Licence to Sell or Service Insurance in the Great State of Texas, and that her Licence should be suspended indefinitely or at least until she can receive further training or "coaching" on how to deal with the public and her lack of good customer service skills. Again, my wife and I are new homeowners, and I am a Loss Mitigation Supervisor for Morgan Stanley Mortgage, this is NO way to treat your customers, and I frequently deal with hostile and irate customers in my line of work, Ive found treating another human being with the utmost courtesy and respect and diligent customer service, tends to go a long way in business, rather than simply hanging up on their customer. I still dont have or know my Homeowners Policy#, or my Insurance Co.'s telephone#, please help in regulating Ms. [redacted] wrongful Actions.This Complaint is on[redacted]A Sunrise Home Mortgage [redacted] Information not foundPhone: [redacted]
