A Sure Clean

I found A-Sure on [redacted]. I spoke with the owner & asked if the company provided wood floor coating. Manager ([redacted]) explained that they did coat floors & that he would send employee over to bid & handle the job. Employee stopped by on the morning of 11/8/12 to place the bid for $200, with a confirmation to start work on 11/9/12. Employee ([redacted]) arrived the morning of 11/10/12 explaining that he would need poly to coat the floor. I asked the employee why didn't he bring a buffer to go over the floor before applying treatment, he responded that he had been in the line if work for years & that my floor didn't need buffing. I took employee to purchase poly because he arrived with nothing. Employee explained that 50% of the material would be deducted from my original quote. Employee ([redacted]) applied1.5 coats the floor. I questioned as to how a half coat could be applied. Employee did some touch up work & explained that it needed to dry & that he would return on11/11/12. [redacted] spent 1/2 his time @ my home smoking cigarettes & talking on the phone, I believe it hindered his productivity. I paid [redacted] an installment of $100 on 11/9/12. [redacted] arrived on 11/9/12 & I explained that my floor had numerous streaks & bubbles & that the work was unacceptable. It was determined that additional supplies would be needed. I asked [redacted] about buffing the floor, he responded that buffing wasn't needed that it could be sanded out. I demanded that [redacted] contact the owner of A-Sure ([redacted]) to take a look @ my flooring. I get the opportunity to speak w/ [redacted] & he explains that he can't make it over to inspect my floors & asked that I send him a photo from my phone. I expressed to [redacted] that my floors are in worse condition & [redacted] responded that he could not meet with me to evaluate what needed to be done for my wood flooring. The employee [redacted] then speaks with [redacted] & tells me that my floors will need to be buffed. I furiously explained this was brought to his attention yesterday. I explained to [redacted] & [redacted] that A-Sure could not complete the service & that I would pursue another contractor to complete my floor work.
