I, Phoung My Hoang am the owner of A&T Nails who have received and review the complaint that was given on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. My employee did the clients nails and left very pleased on how her nails came out. The client came back into my salon 3 weeks later to ask why she couldn't take...

her fake nails off herself. A person who gets their nails done frequently should know that you should not take acrylic nails off yourself. You are supposed to come in to let the nail technician take them off for you to prevent damaging your real nails. The client also told my employee that she went to other nail salons and they did not put them on as tight. But the point of having acrylic nails is for them to stay on for a long period of time. Every client who has acrylic nails, must come back every two weeks to get a fill in order to maintain and care for their nails. The client also stated that my employee "put so much glue that they wouldn't come off, which is not true. My employee put a reasonable amount of glue in order for the fake nail to stay on. We also asked the client how she took her acrylic nails off and she told us that she used a knife. By using a knife, she damaged her real nails by taking off a layer of her real nails along with the acrylics, which caused her to bleed. The rule of taking acrylic nails off is to soak them in acetone. The client who gels her nails done frequently, did not do that and refused to take proper care of her nails by taking them off herself. We also have a refund policy and a price list that we stick on the front desk for our clients to see. It states that no refunds are given after 24 hours of the service. In this case, the client came back 3 weeks after receiving the service. We are refusing to pay back the client 50 dollars due to our policy. Regards, Phoung My Hoang Owner of A&T Nails
