A & T Well and Pump Reviews (6)

My in-laws were purchasing bottled water constantly because of the gross tasting water in their well It concerned me about the cost they were spending on the bottled water as well as all the bottles they were getting I found A&T Well Pumps for them on Google and scheduled the appointment They were hesitant about the service, but found that A&T could sanitize their well to clean up their water to make it drinkable again A&T responded quickly and did a great job of explaining the services to make my in-laws comfortable We were amazed with the results and that their tap water is now drinkable again

We were trying to get a VA loan and our well kept failing the Coliform test We treated several times We were thinking that we had to line the well or dig a new one They suggested that we put in a UV filter that was guaranteed to kill the Bactria for far less than the other methods that had no guaranties Their estimate was on the money with no surprises They found a bad blather tank and replaced it for a reasonable price My wife handled the entire process and had no concerns They were professional and treated her with respect It is so nice to see that still exists in this society Keep it up A&T We will recommend you to everyone we can *** and ***

We were trying to get a VA loan and our well kept failing the Coliform test. We treated several times. We were thinking that we had to line the well or dig a new one. They suggested that we put in a UV filter that was guaranteed to kill the Bactria for far less than the other methods that had no guaranties. Their estimate was on the money with no surprises. They found a bad blather tank and replaced it for a reasonable price. My wife handled the entire process and had no concerns. They were professional and treated her with respect. It is so nice to see that still exists in this society. Keep it up A&T. We will recommend you to everyone we can. [redacted] and [redacted]

On May 24, 2014 Mr [redacted] performed work for me ie. a new well pump, wiring, etc and asked many times for my invoice but he never sends it.On Saturday May 24th, 2014 we awoke to find that we didn't have water. I checked the circuit breakers and nothing was tripped. I checked under the house and noticed there wasn't any pressure in the expansion tank. I then went out to the well head, checked that power was getting there and came to the conclusion the pump was broken.I got ahold of Mr [redacted] and he and a helper showed up shortly. He checked and told me the Expansion tank had a slow leak which caused the pump to run continuously and then eventually failed. His estimate came in at $2,800 for a pump, cable, expansion tank and labor. I thought it a bit steep but it was a holiday weekend, we had a house full of guests and we needed water. He said that I could pay him $2,200 that day - which I did - then $200/month for three months starting July 1 which basically was for the expansion tank and labor. We made the deal.He finished and I paid him. I also made the first scheduled $200 payment by July 1.On July 14 I emailed him asking for a detailed receipt. This was for warranties and also because I discovered I could possibly be covered under my home-owners insurance policy for this. The next day he responded back saying he will supply me with the detailed receipt by the beginning of the following week.On August 8 2014 I emailed him again saying nothing more than I could really used that detailed receipt right now. No reply to that email.A few weeks later I emailed again asking for the detailed receipt for the $2,800 expenditure. I also mentioned that the $400 balance owed him would be paid upon receipt of the detailed invoice/receipt. It is now October 6, 2014 and I haven't heard a thing. I'm glad his business is going so well that he could leave $400 "on the table".Desired SettlementSettlement? Just what he promised me, the detailed invoice/receipt showing a breakdown of all parts and labor totaling $2,800.00.Upon receipt of that document, I will send $200 followed by another $200 within 30 days therefore fulfilling my obligation.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/I filed this complaint on October 6 in the afternoon and on the morning of October 7 both the Revdex.com and A & T Well and Pump responded to me. A and T responded with the invoice/receipt that I had seeking. I thank you both for your extremely quick turn-around and resolution.Mr. [redacted] from A and T Well and Pump said that he had sent me the quote each time I had asked for it. This I can't dispute as email is a connectionless service and as such is subject to all the vagaries the internet has to offer. He was very apologetic as mentioned previously closed his end quickly.I believe we can consider this case closed. I'll be sending Mr [redacted] $200 of what I owe him the latter part of next week, then the remaining $200 in the beginning of November.Thank you for your service.Regards,[redacted]Clayton, NC
