***, here is my response 4Corners apologizes to this home buyer for their continued disappointment We have addressed cleaning up any remaining construction debris and remain prepared to address any other issues that may arise during the buyer’s warranty period We are proud of the homes we build and hope in time to win this buyer back [redacted] , President Corners Homes

4Corners Homes has forwarded this home buyer's concern to the HOA and Developer of the community These drainage easements are to be maintained by the home owner and any repairs that are needed are to be taken up with the HOA

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/11) */
4Corners Homes makes every effort to accommodate our home buyer's concerns after closingEach home buyer receives a year third party warrantyUnfortunately, in this case, neither of these concerns fall under the warranty7,SF of sod
is included with the price of the homeThis home buyer's home site is larger in sizeMore sod would have been needed to be purchased by this home buyer to cover all non-vegetated areasThis buyer chose not to purchase additional sod which has allowed for natural erosionAs to the silt in the water lines, sometimes in new construction silt does get in the water lines for a timeWith continued use this will go away by itselfThis also is not covered by the warrantyThe home buyer chose to enhance their water system with a filter on their own accord

4Corners Homes is dedicated to providing great customer serviceWe deeply regret that it has taken longer than usual to resolve this problemWe completed the work late last week and we are hopeful that this problem has been resolved once a for allWe have and will again apologize to this
homeowner for the inconvenience this repair caused and will do our best to address any future service requests in a timely manner

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/17) */
4Corners Homes sincerely apologizes for the poor handling of this homeowner's service requests. We will be contacting this buyer and redoubling our efforts to address their concerns. We will make it right.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /*...

(3000, 7, 2015/06/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response is to vague to determine how the action will be handled. We have had many complaints and currently only the cracks have been addressed. A representative has come to our home to inspect the damage. He was sent by 4 corners. We had our own independent representative inspect the area as well. Both representatives did state the property does not need piers. This is good news. However, the property does need a good mason to re-do the brick ties. We were told by our representative that there areas we are concerned about are not due to the ground shifting but instead are a result of poor craftsmanship. He stated the cracking can be repaired by a good mason. This is good news compared to the latter being a foundation issue. It is difficult at this time to say we accept the response from the business as the response is vague. It does not provide a plan of service or address the various issues.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 14, 2015/07/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I updated my complaint on 07/10/15 to express repeated no shows by the company scheduled to complete the work to our home. They did indeed show on 07/10/15 after repeated calls by myself and my husband. They did repair the brick. However they chose for reasons unknown to me to added 8 expansion joints around our property. 2 at each window and 2 at each door. They stated it was to prevent further cracking. I am confused as to why these expansion joints are necessary. They are unsightly and make our home look as if placed together like a puzzle piece. In addition they bricking company stated they would be back today Monday 07/15/15 to clean off the residue left over from the mortar on our home. They were a no show and the residue is still all over the bricks of our home therefore still rendering the job incomplete. Additionally the bricks were only one of our concerns our ditch has yet to be repaired 4 corners has only compiled the problem as the water company determined our meter was not up to code as it was not on our property and they had to dig up the water line and move it. We were not notified this was going to occur beforehand we were only notified during the process after they destroyed our sprinkler lines. We are now waiting for the ditch and sprinkling system to be repaired. Additionally no effort has been made to clean the residue off the bricks on our fireplace which was requested during our walk- through. I have the paperwork showing the request was made. Additionally the determination we did not have foundation problems was made by a company that did nothing aside from walk around the property and look at the bricks as walls. We were advised that this was not done properly by another company which assured us to do a full foundation inspection would take at least an hour and require the use of lasers to determine the elevation levels both inside and outside the home. This was not done by 4 corners but we have an outside vendor coming to do this for us on 10/21. We will determine what steps to take at that time.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2015/07/20) */
4Corners Homes continues to work with this homeowner to address their concerns and bring the few remaining service requests to a close.

[redacted], here is my response…   4Corners apologizes to this home buyer for their continued disappointment.  We have addressed cleaning up any remaining construction debris and remain prepared to address any other issues that may arise during the buyer’s warranty period.  We are proud of the homes we build and hope in time to win this buyer back.   [redacted], President 4 Corners Homes

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/27) */
4Corners Homes has agreed to meet with the [redacted] and to address the grading issue. We will schedule a time to meet as soon as the current wet weather pattern breaks. It may then take a few weeks to schedule the work once it has stopped...

raining. The ground is saturated and many trades have a backlog of exterior work to get done due to the recent record breaking rains.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/05/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

4Corners Homes has forwarded this home buyer's concern to the HOA and Developer of the community.  These drainage easements are to be maintained by the home owner and any repairs that are needed are to be taken up with the HOA.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Like everything else related to this house 4corners has done a sub par job addressing the issue and had no quality control during any of this. First of all they did do some work; however, we are not sure what because there has been no communication from them to us nor was any documentation supplied to us showing anything has been addressed.  Second, they have left a mess in the yard and also along the east side of the property which needs to be cleaned up. With proper preparation the mess in the yard could have been prevented but this didn't happen so now it needs to be properly addressed. Every remnant of brick that has been scattered in the yard needs to be removed and any debris left on the east side of the property needs to be cleaned up as well. Third, not all of the desired resolutions have been met or even addressed.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We sincerely apologize for not completing this home buyer's service requests in a timely fashion.  Typically our processes work well and service items are taken care of within 1 to 2 weeks.  We will be contacting this home owner today and review those items that were overlooked.  We...

expect to have them agreed to and completed within 2 weeks.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the Business response and as of today's date February 22, 2018 they have yet to come out to even make another list of repairs (they say they need to do) They had made arrangement to come Tuesday but rescheduled due to weather for Wednesday and rescheduled once again for icy conditions. As of yet nothing has changed. Once they have come and completed all repairs I will be satisfied. Until then, they are ignoring their obligation to warranty / contract and are ove 4 months passed due.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
