Executed contract for surveillance and delivery of report. Report not delivered by firm. Refund not provided after multiple requests. Signed a contact for surveillance and pre paid $750 for surveillance and report.Assignment was outsourced. No updates ever received, when I called, the "investigator" was on vacation. No call back.Requested refund and was refused. Still no deliverable from this agency. Not returning my calls.Desired SettlementFull refund.Business Response We have received your letter (dated October 7, 2014) today. Since receiving your letter, we have contacted Mrs. [redacted] (via email) and sent her another copy of her report. Our last contact with Mrs. [redacted] was on July 30th, 2014; Mrs. [redacted] never responded to this contact, thus no further work could be done without her assistance/approval. As the nature of the professional relationship with Mrs. [redacted] was of a confidential matter, we cannot provide any specific information to you in regards to this matter. We are a licensed, bonded and insured private investigations firm. As per our contract with Mrs. [redacted] (which was signed by her on July 14, 2014), our refund policy states: "No refund will be made after the starting date, except as required by law or separate agreement... Due to unfortold circumstances... A Tech promises only due diligence in resolving the investigation to the client's satisfaction...The circumstances surrounding each case are different and we will do our best job possible on our client's behalf. We do not refund money simply because things do not go according to plan". As noted, the client signed the contract and agreed to the terms of said contract (dated July 14, 2014). Without ever receiving a response from the client (after the July 30th email), no additional work could be done.
