Business stated: "The consumer did not want to pay for the vehicle. See came and took with the car without me releasing it to her. left and came back and snuck into the vehicle. The keys were underneath the mat and she took off in the car and did not pay for anything nor did she get the approval to leave with the car. I did not release it to her. I think she did not have any intention on paying me. She was not supposed to take the car. Her daughter was trying to pay with a check and she handed it to me and said I am going to put a stop payment on it, so I told her that I would not accept her check and that I needed cash, because why would I accept a check and she just told me that she was going to put a stop payment on it. There was nothing was wrong with the repair. She did not get an estimate or invoice because she did not pay. She initially paid around $300 but did not pay the balance. She can pay the remaining balance and she can get the invoice/estimate and receipt. Thats not my fault that she took the vehicle."

What do you mean the resolution is not one you can pursue? If the Revdex.com doesn't take action on this, the guy that damaged my car and did the repairs incorrectly will continue to do the same to other customers. The man that damaged my vehicle is dishonest, selfish and manipulative. I...

Review: I was given no written estimate for the work that [redacted]) said needed to be done on my car. I had no car repair options since I live 90 mile outside of [redacted] and it was 7:30pm on a Saturday night (March 19, 2016) and all other car repair businesses were closed. [redacted] answered his work phone, told me he would meet me at A-Tech Mobile Auto Repair, so I had my car towed to his place of business on [redacted] in [redacted] was not at his place of business when I arrived. The owner of a neighboring car repair business assessed my car, gave me an estimate for its repair, and moved it to [redacted]'s shop the next day. [redacted] and I spoke by phone and he completed the repairs that we discussed. No written estimate was provided by text photo or email. I arranged to drive the 90 miles to pick up the car the following Saturday, 5 days later. [redacted] was not at A-Tech when I arrived. When we connected via text and phone, he demanded cash only for the car. [redacted] arrived, unlocked his business and I found his clothing, boots, food leftovers, kid's items, work items, etc. inside my car. He refused to provide an invoice and when I said I would pay by check, he got in my car and moved it inside his business, locked the garage, stated he would release my car when he got $360 in cash and drove away. [redacted] had never told me I would have to pay cash. I went to the bank and got $360 in cash and returnted to wait for [redacted]. During the 3 hours I waited for [redacted] to return with my car key, his work neighbor told me that he had watched [redacted] drive my car all week. His security video had recorded [redacted]'s daily use of my car. Three hour after he left, [redacted]'s brother and mother showed up with my car key and demanded the $360 cash before they would give me my key to my car. No invoice was ever provided. I have no written evidence that [redacted] ever worked on my car. Summary of complaint: 1. No written estimate for the work to be done. 2. No provision of an invoice. 3. Demand for cash payment at time of pick up.Desired Settlement: A-Tech Mobile Auto Repair needs to provide me with an invoice for the work that [redacted] says that he performed on my 2003 tan Honda CRV during the week of March 20, 2016.

Review: I took my 2002 Honda Civic in to have the clutch replaced. When I got my car back there was a large dent on the hood, a dent on the top of car and the bumper that were not there before I dropped off the vehicle. Also, the clutch was not installed correctly because it is very loose and the pedal hits the floor as soon as you press it. The power steering fluid is now low and the vehicle is making a noise when I turn the steering wheel. There was no such noise before dropping my vehicle off for repairs. Furthermore, my car was very dirty and it appears that some type of fluid has leaked all over the side of the engine block. I was not told about any of the damages done to my vehicle during the repair job.Desired Settlement: I plan to take the shop owner to small claims court to reach a settlement on the damages done to my vehicle.
