This company was hired to pour a concrete slab for a detached garage at our existing residence. In doing so, our existing driveway was damaged.This company was hired to pour a concrete slab for a detached garage at our current residence. While performing the job this company was hired to do, the owner damaged our existing driveway. At the time the damage was done, the owner agreed that the damage would be repaired at the company's expense when he came out to poured 1 section of driveway that was in the original contract. This company was asked to give a bid on pour a new portion of driveway. The bid that was given was extremely high. When the General Contractor brought this to his attention, the owner decreased his bid, but the bid was still extremely high. We received several other bids on the new portion of the driveway to be poured, and received a bid that was significantly less. This company was contacted to come out and replace the driveway that he damaged. The owner has refused to come out and repair the damage because he was not awarded the new portion of driveway work. The owner has been contacted and asked on several occasions to make the repairs to what was damaged by the owner. The owner is not willing to follow through and honor his word that the damages would be repaired at his cost.Desired SettlementWe want this company to replace what they have damaged at no cost to us as originally agreed upon. This is also delaying the completion of our project. If the work is not done in a timely manner, we believe the company should cover our expenses to have the work done by another company.
