Returned item to vendor and have yet to receive a refund for weeks nowVendor not answering communicationsItem bought at vendor's suggestionUnwilling to assist with shipping expenses on item

This shop was recommended to me by numerous friends in the off road worldI needed multiple parts ordered for a project on my jeepDuring the process, I explained the scope of the job numerous times to the Zach, the ownerI ordered ALL the parts through himI asked for tracking numbers for these orders that were being shipped from the manufacturers to meI wanted a certain fuel tank, a galZach told me about another tank from the same manufacturer, a 23gal, that he said would workI even asked him if he was positive it would work because I had very little time for delays as we had an event to be ready forHe assured me it wouldWell, weeks later I still had no parts, or tracking numbers from Zach or this companyI called or emailed Zach numerous times trying to get answersOnly then was it brought to my attention that my parts were backorderedthat's weeks after the initial orderSo, I get the gas tank finally after other drama regarding my parts, and guess what, it doesn't work with my build(lon arm stretch w/ coilsprings & shocks)I called the company immediately and found out from the company that this tank will not work with my build(only works with coilovers)I called Zach and he played dumb by claiming I told him I was installing coiloversAh, go back to the beginning of this story and you'll remember that I ordered all of these parts, the whole suspension, to include coil springs, through himHe knew the scope of the jobI now had to special order and and pay to rush ship a whole new tank in order to make my eventSo, whatever, a mistake was madeI can live with thatBut then take responsibility for it, own it and try to make it betterZach, did none of thatAnd since then, trying to get my refund has been one big nightmare after anotherBottom line is, he sold me the wrong tank, he took no responsibility for it, and now he has the returned tank and nearly weeks goes by and he has yet to answer emails or complete the refundI'm considering small claims court at this point
