A to Z Group

Review: In October 2013, A to Z Group completed floor renovation work in our apartment. The primary purpose was to install and level new flooring, and we also discussed reducing the noise from our previous flooring. As per the written contract, the contract includes 'Install soundproof insulation between the beams and sub-floor'. Our neighbor in the apartment below informed us that since the work was completed on our floor, it has made the impact noise worse. By visiting his apartment we confirmed he can hear all our footsteps echoing through his ceiling. We hired an independent inspector to evaluate the work completed in our apartment. An inspection was conducted in 6 different points throughout the apartment, which involved drilling through the floor to see if any insulation was present. We received confirmation that no insulation was placed at any point between the beams and subfloor. In fact, no insulation is present at all. The contract states that insulation would be laid to assist with soundproofing. We have exchanged some emails with A to Z Group, who advised they are not available to discuss the issue until end January 2015. We are unable to wait 3.5 months to discuss the issue. We have contacted A to Z Group again, but not received a response.Desired Settlement: We request that A to Z Group complete the work as specified in our signed contract - 'Install soundproof insulation between the beams and sub-floor'. We request a confirmation and timing plan to complete the work as specified in the contract. If the work is completed in February 2015 that is fine, but we are unable to wait until January 2015 to have a first conversation to discuss this.If A to Z Group are unable or unwilling to complete this work, we request a refund.

I have now filed a claim with Small Claims Court to get this matter resolved. The business contacted me acknowledging that we would discuss via the court system.

There is no need for Revdex.com to follow up. I found the Revdex.com process and communication very slow and unhelpful overall!
