I recently had some issues with my transmission on my car. I called [redacted] and asked him if he would be able to fix it, he agreed he would and took the car. He said it should be done in 2-5 days. He initially charged me 200$ for a rebuild kit and other misc parts he would need, I agreed and gave him the money for the parts. The second day he was running into issues saying that it wasn't shifting right and that it would be another 4 days to get another part to fix the issue. I waited got the part and the issue was still there. so he orders another part it takes a week to get there and it doesn't solve the problem. on the third week he tells me that he blew up my brake Booster when testing for the problem on the transmission. So we order a new one, and he tells me that he has finished the car. So I go to pick it up. get it to the corner and its still not shifting, the brakes are so touchy and messed up that its very unsafe to drive, the turn signals were not working and my brake lights were shorting out. All of these issues were not with the car before I turned it over to him. After that I take the car back and tell him to fix the issues with the car. he agrees and the following day I drive by to see if he is working on the car and there is no one there. a few hours later he calls me and tells me to come pick up the car and hangs up on me before I can ask if it is done. I go get the car and he is not there he has his daughter give me the keys. so I take the car and drive to the corner. it shifted once and then stopped shifting at all and none of the issues he had caused were fixed. So now im out 1000$ and a car. I'm a military member with a pregnant wife and I still gave him the chance to make this right. Also he operates this business out of his front yard, and does not dispose of any fluids or chemicals from his work, he just lets them run off into the dirt on his property. I feel that is a significant health issue considering there are children that live on the premises.
