I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and after speaking with Tim the Owner he has handled my concern with the utmost care and I feel the discussed resolution is satisfactory to me.  Sometimes it is not until you have a problem that you truly know the type of company you are dealing with. While I may have had a bad experience with an employee of A to Z plumbing, I feel assured that Tim will handle it, and I will use them in the future. I only regret that I did not contact Tim sooner.

Review: On January 21, 2016 I contacted A to Z plumbing to fix a stopped up drain. I spoke to TIm and made an appointment for someone to come out the next day at 3pm. At 3:10pm the following day I contacted tim to find out when he would be by. He told me they should be at my house shortly. The plumber didn't arrive until 4:15pm. Upon arriving the man from A to Z plumbing told me he "had to hurry he was late for his next job." Asked what the problem was we told him, I asked how much it would cost to fix, he said he wouldn't have a price until he could figure out whats wrong. The website clearly states "free estimate", so I allowed the man to look at the sink. He told me he had to snake the drain to see what the problem was. I allowed the man to use a snake to see if he could find the problem. He didn't even try to pretend he was snaking the line, instead told me, "you have major problems and need to call someone". Ummm I thought I had called a licensed plumber. The man continued to tell me how I needed to call someone, and that he was late for a job. He dumped the contents of his shop vac out all over my lawn, and left tons of pieces of foam for me to pick up. In the end, the man was at my house for a total of 25 minutes, which included him cleaning out his equipment, didn't do the job he was supposed to do, I had to bring in other people to help solve the issue that a licensed plumber should have been able to do., and then wanted me to pay 137.50. This company falsely advertised on their website, they completed no work, was over a hour late without calling, and insist I pay when no written estimate was given, and no work was completed.Desired Settlement: I want the business to change their website or company policy regarding the "free estimates" and "on time service" as well as the "we clean up after ourselves" aspects of their advertising. Since I had to have other people come in to do the job I canceled the check and the business needs to stop contacting me. If you are asked for an estimate you need to provide one. When telling me you have to see what the problem is you need to find out, not tell me you need to call someone else when you are supposed to know what your doing. It was false advertising with extremely poor customer service and no work was done.
