Response:

About the light switches that Mr. [redacted] said we did not supply. They are a cost of $0.69 each.

We did not leave there without putting these in, otherwise we would not have been paid in full. As we were.

Also why did he wait so long to complain about this ?

Mr. [redacted] said that he had outlets that sparked and he had to call another electrician. Why didn’t he call us. And were these outlets the ones we installed ?

He is saying that we grounded all the lights & switches, but decided to not ground any of the outlets. Wow!

There are two parts to a electrical inspection. The first is after you do the ruff in wiring. The inspector comes and inspects that all the wire is run properly and properly grounded before you can move onto the 2nd phase.

Well the first part of the inspection was completed and passed to move onto the 2nd phase. So if there were any grounding issues they would have showed up here.

We then returned after Mr. [redacted] completed his kitchen and did the final phase of the wiring. Which is installing all the lights switches and outlets. Again we would not of been paid in full had we not put in switches.

Finally about the cost of the inspection. I did agree to pay for the inspection. Mr. [redacted] was suppose to call for a final inspection when all work was completed. And never did, he could not give me a answer as to why.

I have attached a copy of the contract. And a copy of the Attorney Generals Certification.

If anything else is needed please let me know.

Thank you, Be Safe

Have a bright day & A better one tomorrow !

Response:

We are absolutely not satisfied with Mr. [redacted]'s response. We have attached several pieces of documentation for your review. We have attached the final receipt on which Mr. [redacted]'s own electrician, [redacted], wrote "customer paid $150 for inspection. may be taken off bill and have credit per [redacted]". Our check was attached to [redacted]'s copy of the receipt. We find it interesting that he cashed our check but did not see the note from his electrician. We have also attached the email we sent to [redacted] on July 5, 2013 trying to resolve this problem. He did not respond whatsoever to either of these attempts to peacefully and professionally resolve our situation. Furthermore, we have attached the final bill with $425 in OVERCHARGES that we paid for that were simply not done!!!!

We were charged for 5 can lights- we only have 4; charged for 2 pendant lights- we only have 1; charged for 5 outlets (2 on the island- and only received 1 **note that [redacted] claimed a wall outlet under the picture box was considered an island outlet???!!); 5 light switches, but only received 4; 2 dimmers- only received 1 **note that [redacted] stated it is impossible to have two dimmer switches on a three-way switch--- how can [redacted], the OWNER of the company not know this?????; and a dimmer for the island light that was not done- all totaling $425 in overcharges.

We also attached the receipt from the next electrician showing we paid to have all of the outlets grounded that we paid AZ to install and properly ground.

As far as the inspector, we did not hire him. A to Z hired him. We were not even given contact information for him nor ever told it was up to us to contact them again to do the final inspection.

If you need photographic evidence of the work not completed, please let us know and we will take pictures and submit.
