We took a van of ours to them for a transmission issue and after multiple times trying to fix it we ended up taking it to another company who repaired it properly for $after we had paid A to Z about $to fix it the first timeWe actually were awarded $back on this deal from small claims court but the owner has not paid yet

My experience with [redacted] the owner of this company. . Started out pleasent I contacted him in regards to a transmission repair issue.. he was nice during the time of taking my money. But when it was completed and I arrived to pick it up. He informed me that my mass air flow sensor was bad.. I brought it to him for a full transmission rebuild.. before I could leave I had to go buy this new part. I returned later with part. That he said was bad before I gave possession to him. Put part on and still showed bad. He told me to take it home and bring back the next day. So I did. Well the next day I had alot of transmission fluid leaked out on my garage floor. Brought back to him to find out the shifter seal was leaking on top of having the wiring harness to the transmission shorting out causing the false mass air flow sensor malfunction. Still even at that point I was optimistic that stuff happens. Bad luck.. well then a few weeks later it starting shifting very late. Would take high rpms. To shift gears. I called him back and immediately he said it was something I did. For a fee he would fix again.. keep in mind this rebuild came with a 24month/24000 mile warranty. . Well I choose not to bring back to him. Then 14 months later and just 4500 miles later. The transmission went out again. I called him and his first reply was it was out of warranty. I informed him that it wasnt. Then he made another excuse that I had my computer reprogrammed. Which I explained I did not. Well then he said I was racing it for the last year. Which again I was not then he just hung up on me. So the next day I brought to another transmission shop. And they informed me that there was none of the so called parts I had paid for in the transmission from his rebuild. So each step and part thereafter they took photos and documentation. I then called back to a to z transmission. And had nothing but cuss words from this owner.. and that I was an fn it and to fn get a life and leave him alone. . Then said my bill was generic. That the bill didnt actually state what they did? Well the only thing they actually did was destroy the internals of my valve body so now it is costing twice as much to fix than a rebuild should.. please customer beware.. I dont want this to happen to you.. dont fall prey to this scam of a shop. He preys on people that doesnt have alot of money to lure them in with a little less money than reputable shops charge. But you will just pay much more in the end too get your issue's fixed by someone who will actually do the job and task that you need performed. . Again stay away from this shop.. I do NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANOTHER INNOCENT VICTUM! CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!

Don't trust everything you read! I have nothing but positive things to say about A to Z Transmissions. Couldn't have hoped for a better experience! They were honest and upfront about the work they were going to perform on my F-150 and got the job done in the amount of time they said they would. There were no surprise charges. The owner Paul really knows his stuff and took time to explain the warranty in detail to me so I walked away understanding everything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Good prices and very honest people. They are a very busy shop and I received great customer service.

I took my vehicle to this place to have them work on my transmission. They had my vehicle for 4 days. When I called to check on my vehicle after day two they advised that they haven't had a chance to look at it yet. On day four I get a call that state's my car is ready to be picked up and they only had to replace some ground issues in my car. They charged me $101.89 for their service. When I got the call I thought it was odd that nothing was wrong with my transmission because one of my biggest concerns was that my car wasn't shifting into gear. I took the car home and the next morning my car started acting up again and not shifting into gear. I looked at me receipt and it say's that they only replaced a battery terminal which was a $6.00 part and it cost $90.00 in labor! I called them and let them know they didn't fix my problem and why was I charged $90.00 to fix such a small part. The associate I spoke with was [redacted] and he was very rude to me. He was very unprofessional saying that "I" messed it up and it was working when I left the shop. He also said he should have charged me more money to do that job because it took them 2 hours to work on my car. At one point he said to me look lady! It's not our problem; we fixed the issue at the time". I advised him I paid $60 to tow my car to them and have my transmission looked at and fixed and that they didn't even look at the transmission. They fixed a battery terminal and that had nothing to do with the transmission. [redacted] said they will not pay to have my car towed back to them but if I bring it in they will look at it and charge me for that service. I had a lot of money put aside for this car because I have several leaks from the transmission and my gears aren't working. I knew it was going to take them time to fix my problem and that it would cost me some money to do it. I was prepared for that! I'm very angry because now Im back to square one with a non working car and I'm out $160.
