A+ Transmission Specialists Reviews (1)
My mechanic took my car to A+ Transmission on 1488 Magnolia, Tx for a transmission repair. The car was showing a check engine light and the code read "torque converter". Shop requested a rebuild at 2600 dollars. Paid half of the money up front. Shop called and said car was ready and could be picked up at transmission shop. Check for the balance was given at that point. Went to trans shop and car was not ready. Carry that now two weeks later until the car was actually finished. Drove the car 50 miles only for the same code to come up with the check engine light and transmission fluid leaking out. Returned car to shop and he immediatley gave me an answer for the problem and told me it would be 3 days till it was fixed. I dont see how he could give me such a quick answer as soon as I walked through the door. Now I have been told that he doesnt have to deal with me because he deals with the mechanic and not me. I am the owner of the vehicle. The transmission shop owner told me to deal with him directly since he didnt want the mechanic to know he was having trouble because it could cost him work. Bottom line is I was told the job would take 2 days max and now we are on our 3rd week with no car. All I get is attitude when I go and excuses. All I want is my car fix and fixed right. My fear is now is that they never did anything to fix the car in the first place since its throwing the same codes as before. They have no business dealing with the public or anything to do with customer service. This is all after being paind in FULL 2600 dollars.
