A Tree and Much More

We received an estimated tree removal and paid a cash fee of $400 with completion payment to follow after tree removal. This company came by twice, first did nothing and left, then came back after our repeated calls and again, took down one branch and left, also cutting a deep gash in the lower part of the trunk. Left yet again and now will not answer phone calls or texts and nobody will answer the door at the address we located for this supposed business.

I have made a contact with this Compact to do a fence work on my house on hablar 22 año they have complete 60 % the Job. Today its the 4/22 @nd they havent show up to finish the Job I have paythem for all material and last time I spoke to laura and lane they said they truck was stole and hardware for fence was stole as well they toll me they will her hardware again in a couple days and its being 3 wks and nothing I have calle tjem and text then they dont respond no more to me .

Began the job rearranging the schedule to fit customer in sooner. Began job despite the customer paying a deposit as usually required. Explained to customer that our schedule was pretty  booked couldn't arrange a time with customer on 4 desperate attempts. Finally was able to coordinate time...

and continued to perform job of taking a huge cottonwood down. Also at the start of the job had told the customer  that our price was alot less then others was partially due to being a small business it takes us longer and we have to finish by fitting him in earliest chance available. During this time the company fell apart and have kept in contact with customer and have,made every attempt to finish job and correct what the customer is dissatisfied with

We are submitting a formal complaint against, A Tree and Much More, Business owner Laura L for failure to complete work contracted and not returning funds as documented by text messages. We have attempted for three weeks to get them to complete the work and almost every time they indicate that a crew is on their way and then no one shows.
For example, they indicated through documentation of text messages that if the work isn’t done by March 5th, that we would have our deposit returned. The work wasn’t completed by March 5th and for the next few days kept saying a crew will be out today. No crew ever came. We gave them till March 11th before we just want the $400 deposit back. They continued indicating through texts that the crew was on their way and no one ever showed up to complete the work.
The contract was to remove Ash tree and all debris for $1,200 with a deposit of $400 for dump fees. Since they never took anything to the dump and stated they would return the $400 if the work wasn’t completed by March 5th, we are claiming we have the right to that deposit back. Furthermore, the damage they left to neighboring properties will need to be repaired now by us and that will cost us even more. We’ve already hired another tree company to complete the work as other projects around the house are depending on this project. The Contract started February 19th and was to take 4 – 5 days, which never happened. And Because the mess they left everything in, the other company was charging $1500 to clean up the mess and finish the job. We also got another quote for $1800 to finish the job.

The company removed 2 trees in a very prompt manner in a emergency situation. The provided excellent service did a great job and charged us at least 50% less then the 3 other companies we had called.
