A-US Air Conditioning of Texas, Ltd.

I have [redacted] Insurance and on the 26 marck 2013 we needewd an in home inspection on the air conditioner system so ahs contracted A-US Air for the inspection and any needed repairs. They done some repairs and said all was ok. On August9,2013 the air conditioner quit workin so we called [redacted] again to send a repairman. A-US Air was called back in for analysis and repair .The repairman discovered that the wiring was not in code and told us that [redacted] would not cover the repair. He failed to call his company for varification and told us the cost for his repair would be $400.00 but he knew an electrician who would probably rewire the system for less. The individual he called showed up and give us a price of $350.00. we agreed because we needed the air conditioner back on line. I called his company to register a complaint that on their visit in March they certified that the system was ok. We paid $350.00+$75.00 to ahs for the service call. I asked if we could negotiate for the screw up they made and was told the repairman did not work their any longer and their was nothing more to say or do. My wife told me that there was something odd about the repairman and his electrician (like they knew each other) All this could have avoided if they had negotiated on the bill.I contacted [redacted] and they advised me to write them and they would investigate. Thats next....Additional Our home could have burndt due to there in-complete wiring inspection in March.
