A VENTURE HOMES

We recently signed a contract with History Maker Homes for newly construction. We were told that we would have two appointments with the showroom people and they in a meantime will contact our lender / submit building permit to city. After our first appointment with the showroom, our sale person called to confirm that appointment, which at that time I told him that we want to stay with our lender ( Bank of America) and said will NOT be working with their lender ( Prime Lending). * Noted I also had written to Prime Lending person and told her thank you for her time and we wanted to stay with Bank of America.* Two weeks later History Maker sale person called and said that Prime Lending would like to sit down and explains further because she does not think I "get it". I asked him why would I do that when I already told them both NO and again want to work with Bank of America. I proceed to ask him how our process was going, at which he repled " well I thought you were still thinking who to go with, so nothing yet" WHAT??????? you wsted two weeks of doing nothing?!? He knew we were on a tight schedule due to our upcoming lease ending. Furious I hung up with him, then attemp to have his superior contact me. Waited two days later and still no call. I had to call them again for him to returned my call. I thought I would get something resolved but his superior thought his sale person did nothing wrong and asked why I was upset. Excuse me??? He asked questions like I was a child and knew nothing about the process. I was so upset that it made me cry only then did he back down and said that his sale person was only trying to get his incentive by insisting that we pick their lender of choice. He then said that he would contact our lender and try to move up the process. I told him thank you, but would also like to work with another sale person because I can not count on this person doing their job right for the next 6 months. Over a week now, still have not heard anything from that superior. I did get a second appointment with their showroom people but nothing else from the sale people to update us on the process or to let me know who they are transferring us to work with. This is making us very nervous starting out like this..not sure if we should walk away and find other builders in the areas.
