A Vermont Table

I was in search of a wedding caterer and was given [redacted]'s name -- owner of A Wedding Table in Putney, VT. I reached out to [redacted] in December to determine if she was available on August 11th (our wedding date) and to discuss menus and costs. She confirmed that she was indeed available and sent me an email with menu samples. I told her I was interested and wanted to meet with her in person. She agreed and we planned to meet on March 10th to discuss the menus in greater detail - I also assumed that we would sign the contract. Then, today, a day before I was scheduled to drive four hours to Vermont to meet [redacted], she sent me an email stating that she was canceling our meeting as she had "...just been contracted to cater a two day job on the weekend of August 11th and am not available to cater your wedding." This is poor business practice and customer service. [redacted]
