I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

Regards,

What Mr *** just wrote is so not true. We had an agreement. Mr*** was paid $above his estimate. In Mr *** contract it states "Any alterations or deviation from the above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written consent by the customer . All the emails that I supplied show exactly what I stated previously. Mr *** did no additional work. When I mentioned to Mr*** about a problem in how the ceiling was installed in a room, that you can not control the heat/air conditioning in that room anymore, I was told that maybe if I use a screw driver I might be able to open/close it. Truly I do not know why we need to work on a resolution. I feel Mr*** did not do his end of the work that was to be done and was paid more than the estimate. Mr *** was given a check for $2,and then weeks later was off for weeks for "Christmas Break", weeks to go to Michigan (In January) week work comp injury. week the flu. (This time did not even send an email. called at noon when he was supposed to be here) Totals almost to months. Emails show everything. Seriously he wanted to come over and work on the day of my boys Birthday party which was at 11:a.m

First I would like to thank you for your prompt response to this matter. Mr*** started working in my house over six months ago. November 6, 2014. Before Mr. *** started work I asked for an estimate many times. I am a single Mom and money is definitely a consideration. Mr*** started the job and handed me the estimate at the same time. When I finally did receive the estimate I asked Mr*** about the painting, windows etc. I was informed everything was in the estimate except the flooring. I was happy. Mr. *** worked and I was constantly asking him when he was going to work. A project I was told by Mr*** would be done by Christmas was dragged on until now (still not complete). Mr*** did two ceilings. Two rooms. What Mr*** has not done per his project estimate is : replace water valve. Mr*** spent two hours he told me he did this. I thought it was done. My son turned on the water to find out nothing was done. I already sent a receipt showing I have now had this done. Mr*** went through my personal belonging and found white paint to fix the ceiling in my sons room where he fixed his ceiling fan (not done correctly). Screen door (I supplied the screening). Mr *** took the screen door to his home and finally returned it six months laterI supplied the screening. Mr*** installed one door. The project was for $3800.00. Mr*** has been paid $4500.00. This is $above his estimate. Mrhas not completed per his estimate water valve, door, windows. I have previously sent you all the emails. Also Mr*** never told me he could not texture that I paid under $for. Please I am reaching out to you for help! The windows Mr*** fixed, the stain is now running down on the outside of the house. My feeling is that I owe no monies. I am getting everything done in the house that Mr*** was contracted to do. You do not create good faith by threatening people with a lien as I was on June 3, 2015. I was told by Mr*** that I was paid in full on March 14, 2015. Thank you again for your help in this very distressing matter

I have read the recent response from [redacted]. Wow! As a
professional I will only speak of the truth and the facts that I have. First of
all, my estimate speaks for itself. I never said that everything was included
in this estimate. I could have had the work quoted on my original estimate done
by Christmas or shortly thereafter. The additional work is what caused this
project to run on. From day one I told her that I was not capable of doing the
texture work. This is a process that I have no experience with and I told her
that she would have to find someone else to do that work. I also never said
that I had replaced the water valve. Yes it was in my quote just not completed.
That is why it is not included on my invoice. She said that I only did 2
ceilings in 2 rooms which I have already stated that I did 3 rooms. She said
that I went through her personal belongings to find white paint to do a repair.
I am a professional. I would never go through a customer’s personal belongings.
I had some leftover paint from another project that I used for the repair free
of charge. In one of my last e-mails I sent her, I stated that I needed to come
back and finish the windows and install the last door. I wanted to complete
this before her party but she did not give me the opportunity. She also states
that the stain on the windows is now running down the outside of the house. I
find this hard to believe since the staining work was done on the inside of the
windows. The outside of the windows are aluminum clad. In the complaint that
she filed with Home Advisor (see attached document) she states that “the
contract does not include a lot of the work”. She also states that she “does
not want to see or talk to him again”. In my response to this complaint I told
Home Advisor that I was willing to work with her to help resolve this issue the
same as I have told you. She has never come back to me with any sort of
response to my efforts. I am more than willing to work with her to help resolve
this issue but she should be willing to do the same. There is no reason why we
cannot work together on a resolution to this issue. Thanks,[redacted]

I am sending you this in response to complaint # [redacted]. I understand that this complaint was filed by [redacted]. I have been trying to get in touch with her about my invoice for quite some time now. She does not answer calls from me or e-mails. She will not give me the chance to explain my...

bill so I guess I will have to explain it to you. The original estimate that I gave her was not for the entire job that she wanted done. I told her that in the beginning. She kept adding more work to the project. In my estimate I show installation of a ceiling in 2 rooms, I ended up doing 3 rooms. I also was only supposed to do framing and drywall work in one of the 2 rooms, I ended up doing the 3rd room as well. My estimate does not show anything about painting either. I ended up painting her entire basement. I also did other work as well. She shows my first invoice, but not my second. I tried to help remedy this issue by cutting my bill about 30 percent. I would be more than happy to discuss this with her and work this out but she is unresponsive to me. Please feel free to contact me at any time. Regards,
