I have been wearing glasses for over a decade with no problems getting the prescription and frames I wantI came this business as a new customer in April to get my yearly eye exam With my updated prescription I decided to get some glasses new glasses the same day and I prefer the transition coating for comfort and eye protectionsThey placed the order, they came in and I went to pick them upI had done some reading that new transition lenses usually take a couple minutes to kick in so I walked around outside the shop to test themBut they didn't transition I informed the staff and they told me they would send in a request for replacement lenses
A couple weeks went by and I was finally able to get to the store to get the replacement frames, it took so long because only day a week is someone in the office who can actually make the lens switch I tested the lenses before leaving again and did see them get a shade darker, so I assumed they were working on this overcast day a

To whom it may concern, the dispute filed by [redacted] contains false and or erroneous information. The patient states that we did not give her the benefits allowed within her insurance plan. [redacted] has TWO insurance plans. She was not aware of this at the time, nor did she know WHAT...

plan she had. She was under the false impression that there was some universal database that you could enter in her social security number and it would tell you which insurance she had. This is absolutely incorrect. She did NOT, at the time of service, inform us that she had [redacted]. She was found under a plan called [redacted] and here is where we found the benefits for her plan. At no point, at time of service, did she volunteer that she had another or additional insurance. She DID question her benefits (still not volunteering that she had [redacted]); but when she was shown the benefit authorization sheet with her information FROM [redacted], she decided to go through with the purchase. It is the patients responsibility to inform the office of what insurance they have. Unfortunately, there is no universal database that can call this up. [redacted] was given outstanding customer service and at no point lied to. She was sadly ignorant of her own insurance plan.As all Rx materials are custom made for each patient, it is not possible to refund [redacted] for work and materials already spent. This is clearly stated as policy and in writing before any services are rendered. Regards, Neeraj B[redacted], OD A Visual Affair
