Review: I purchased a vehicle from A West Broad Auto Sales in [redacted] on March 1, 2014. My family and I were in desperate need of a vehicle, so the purchase was made quickly. However, we did ask all the questions necessary to ensure that we were getting a reliable vehicle. The [redacted] of the business ensured me that there was nothing wrong with the car, but I soon found out that he was being dishonest. Less than three weeks after purchasing, the car wouldn't start anymore. After consulting with a mechanic, I was informed that the motor and engine were both on their way out and I was lucky they hadn't already blown while driving the car. The fuel pump was non-functional, and the car had also been in a previous wreck, which they said hadn't happened. While I understand that buying a used car comes with its own set of "risks," the [redacted] knew that he was selling me a poor vehicle. When I went to him to let him know what was going on, he pretty much did nothing to make things right. He refused to give me a refund--even though these problems clearly had to have been there before I purchased the car. I want my money back, and I also want other consumers to know what they are getting into before purchasing these fraud vehicles. My mechanic also let me know that the standards for buying/selling cars is different up north; with it being less strict in [redacted], people will go up north to buy cheap and then sell it way over-priced here in [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want all the money back that I gave to this man. I paid $3,200 cash for the van, and I want every bit of it back. I understand the value of any vehicle--new or used--loses value once you pull off the lot, but the man misrepresented the car and lied just to get a sale. This was such a horrible experience for me, because just before purchasing this van I had another one that ended up being a fraudulent incident where the other [redacted] of another business was forced to give me my money back

Thank you,

I purchased a 1999 chevy tahoe last yr from here. I was told that this was a great and dependable vehicle and it is regardless of the high mileage. They are friendly and is not concerned with just making money, but with making sure youre comfortable and satisfied with your vehicle. If you run into hardship let them know and they have no problem with working out something with you. I love Goran and the guys here. I feel like family.. Hopefully soon I will be purchasing another vehicle from these guys. I will recommend them to everyone.
