8/13 Upon buying a cellphone from the New Scotland Ave Store, was sold something other than what I described as what I wanted. Retailer told me my SD card from previous phone would work, does not. Complained to retailer 8/14 wanted refund, retailer refused, said on receipt says no refund on prepaid phone which I did not know or did he state. 8/14 called Verizon cust. svc. said all Prepaid Phones have a 14 return policy. Went back to retailer, refused refund, said not under Verizon policies as he is an affiliate store. Even though store sign says Verizon. Called Verizon cust. svc. was told to return it to "Real Verizon" store, called and manager told me we can't return or refund, as it would mess up his inventory. Have tried several times to resolve with Verizon and retailer to no avail. Retailer refuses to answer and Verizon gives me different story from 12 different supervisors, who promise to call back and don't. Ask for corp. office.
My wife and I purchased phones (2) at this place of business, and we were told we could return them in 3 days with no charge. We did this and have not received a refund or credit on our credt card. ( 201.40 original charge and 53.00 when the items were returned) When contacting the store today I was told we didn't return the items in 3 days. The rep advised it was 4 days 11-29-11 to 12-3-11. These items were purchased at 3:07PM on the 29th of November and returned on the 3rd of December. I was told I had 3 days, but do not belive counting the 29th is proper.I was also charged an additional 53.00 on the day of return, I think she said for restocking, which don't agree with either. The rep today said they would check the "main office" for the receipts and call back, he has not. Attempts to contact the store manager are also in vain.
