Review: While purchasing a new cell phone, I was offered a wifi "jetpack" that would enable wifi access anywhere. I was told that there was a one time fee of one dollar, and that I would only be charged for data usage. I took two of these jet packs. when I received my first bill (about a month later) I saw that my phone bill had doubled ($220 to $440). the additional cost was due to each jetpack having an installation fee, monthly fees, and pre-billing a month in advance. I had never agreed to any of this. when I called customer service, they told me that the early termination fee would be $175 (which I later found out is for each unit, a total of $350). customer service told me to return to the store. once there, the store apologized for their employee withholding information, but refused to waive any fees or adjust any charges. they told me that I would have to call customer service. customer service then told me that they would call me back, and did not. ultimately, this problem stemmed from this company misrepresenting this product and now I will be forced, by [redacted], to pay over $500 additional monies for service I did not even receive.Desired Settlement: I would like the charges on my current bill adjusted and I would like all "set up" fees and "early termination" fees to be waived. I honestly did not know that these devices would be added to my plan as "devices" and charged monthly. the sales person was dishonest in his representations.

Review: I was fraudulently sold an insurance plan and told that there is no deductible for the phone if anything at all happens to it!

We went to the A Wireless [redacted] store at [redacted] to upgrade our phone. The phone we chose was the [redacted] iPhone 4 8GB. I was given a $25 gift card to use towards the purchase of anything at the store by the store manager W[redacted].

When we got to the store the associate [redacted], assisted us. He refused to honor the $25 gift card that we were given. We weren't going to even do the upgrade when he had refused to do this but we were in a pinch and needed to get our daughter a phone immediately.

The sales associate fraudulently sold us the "better" insurance plan offered by [redacted]. He told us that no matter what happened to your phone that we could get it replaced free of charge and explicitly said that there was "NO DEDUCTIBLE" for this insurance service. We gladly accepted this plan because it would be very useful for our daughter the college student.

Yesterday my daughter broke her phone and we went in to file an insurance claim for it. We were astounded to hear that there was a $169 deductible to get the phone replaced/fixed. We absolutely said that was unacceptable and that we would like to speak to the gentleman that sold us the plan. We were then informed that the associate that sold us that insurance plan no longer worked at that store because he had fraudulently sold that insurance to other customers and he was finally fired. There was also no store manager to assist us. They said that their store manager was fired as well and that they were still searching for one.

This is unacceptable in every sense of the word. Not only did you cost me $25 by not accepting my gift card but they also did not honor the "No Deductible" insurance plan that they sold to me. They said theres nothing they could do about the issue. They didn't even attempt to help me and cost me over $80 in fees for this insurance plan.

We called the store as well as going into the store and they said that there is nothing they could do. That they could have the district manager call back at some point but said that he would "call us back" at his convenience. He was of no assistance at all and did nothing but waste our time. If he could answer the phone why couldn't he get on the phone with us.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the insurance plan that we paid for every month since July. We were fraudulently sold this plan so the associate could make his commission and there is no one being accountable for the issue.

Someone needs to take Ownership of this issue and not only refund us all of the money but replace the broken phone that I now have. We will in no way shape or form pay any money for the deductible that we were told does not exist.

We also would like a personal apology f

Complaint against [redacted], a Wireless/Premium [redacted] Retailer, [redacted] Store.Refund of accessories and manager complaint.

On November 12, 2013, I went to the [redacted] store to see my options for traveling. [redacted], after much deliberation, had me enter into an agreement to upgrade my phone with [redacted] because I was traveling overseas the next day. I was assured that although we've been having issues with [redacted], this agreement would be most beneficial for my travels. So I traded in my iPhone 4. The salesman also understood that I would not be back within the 14 days and he stated that if there were any issues at all whether with the phone, the service, the agreement or anything, they would have the agreement withdrawn and refund the accessories purchased from my trade in. If not for that assurance, we would not have entered into another contract with the company. This was well understood by all present.
Unfortunately, I had several issues while oversees; no service, phone didn't work properly etc.
My partner was at the [redacted] store a few times, trying to have them and Customer Service provide the global service, I had already signed up for. It didn't happen and it was appalling that I was stranded oversees with my 1 year old and no communication.
Immediately upon my return, I went to [redacted] to void my contract agreement and return the accessories which were part of my trade in credit. They said they could not help me and suggested I reach out to [redacted] instead. They were the ones to suggest bringing the Revdex.com report against [redacted]. I was floored by their lack of follow through and realized they had bamboozled me into this agreement. [redacted] proceeded to say that if [redacted] canceled the contract, they will take the return of the accessories.
Because of the situation, [redacted] did come through, accepted their error and canceled the contract at no cost to me. However, [redacted] did not. When I brought proof to [redacted] that [redacted] agreed to the cancellation, their *regional* manager refused the returns. He was extremely rude and threatening. This is unacceptable.
