A Wish for Animals

I adopted a dog that was obtained by AWFA, as a result of an owner surrender. I was told that I would receive vaccination records and be reimbursed for the spay. I never rec'd the records. It is nearly impossible to ever reach the Founder, Toni Eakes. Her phone goes to voicemail and she does not return calls. My emails rec'd an auto reply that I would be contacted by someone within a few days. That never happened. I finally took care of all of the costs myself.

Review: I adopted a dog from this adoption agency. The adoption was supposed to include the spay/neuter for my animal. I attempted several times to schedule this service. At first I was told the dog was not old enough, however my veterinarian suggested otherwise. I waited until the agency thought my dog was old enough, but when I attempted to schedule the spay/neuter I got no response. The main reason for my complaint is that I feel I have not been treated with respect by the founder.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to pay for the spay of my animal, totaling $352.00
