Pam then cut me off claiming she never said thatI assured her that that is what I was told otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation right nowShe then told me that they had made an "appointment" for me to come in on Monday (5th of December), which is not what I was told when I called on Thursday to speak with Pam who was out of the office at the timeWhen I called on Thursday I stated to the lady that answered the phone, "My name is ***, I'm the one that filed the complaint with the Revdex.com and the response I received said to call the office to discuss the complaint"The lady informed me that Pam was the one who wanted to speak with me and that she would be out of the office for the rest of the weekI told her that I could call to discuss the issue on Monday after 4, I called when I got off work at 4:30pm and no one answeredI left a voicemail which led to the discussion Pam and I had yesterdayNot once did anyone tell me to "come in" and discuss the issueContinuing with the conversation yesterday, Pam refused to discuss the billing issue with me over the phone and requested I come in to discussI am no longer comfortable doing that based on her most recent response to the Revdex.com claiming that I told her to "be quiet"I request all conversation happen through the Revdex.com from here on as she doesn't seem to recall the same conversation as I doI also request to speak with either Jen (the PA whom I had the appointment with) or DrH [redacted] to discuss my concerns as I Pam has stated that she refuses to discuss issues with me over the phone and I no longer feel comfortable expressing my concerns as a patient to herI will start with a statement to DrH [redacted] and/or Jennifer M [redacted] : I came to your practice as a new patient back in October seeking help for an issue I was having getting my new insurance to cover the birth control I was taking at the timeAfter speaking with Jen she agreed to work with me to find a brand covered by my insurance, after a bit of effort we found one to tryThe 1st problem I encountered: The nurse(s) whom I spoke with to fill the correct prescription failed to call in the exact name different times before the correct prescription was filledThe prescription wasn't filled in time before I ran out of what birth control I had left and had to resort to alternative methodsThe 2nd problem: I received a statement in the mail saying I owed $for my appointmentI was surprised to see this as the practice was recommended to me from a friend I work with who has the same health insurance and benefits I do and showed me her bill which she only had to pay $for her visit (she also had more procedures performed during her visit than I did)I called to clarify what I was billed for as the statement wasn't very clear and to clarify what they billed my insurance forPam informed me at that time that the I was billed a "new patient fee" as well as "whatever Jen thought was adequate for my appointment" and that I was "billed by the minute"I informed her that I had only had a conversation with Jen during my appointment and no procedures were performed and that we only discussed birth control optionsShe told me that when I received the actual bill it would be more informative of than the statement and would tell me exactly what I was billed forThe 3rd problem: When I received the bill in the mail it gave no more information than the statementI called again to clarify and this time was told that the $was the "new patient fee" they charge everyone by Pam, this varied from the previous statement she had given me over the phoneI asked to clarify the again and she wouldn't tell me what they billed my insurance for but that I needed to pay it by the 17th of November to not be charged a late feeThe bill I have says to be paid in full within days of the statement date which would have been the 26th of NovemberI paid the bill the 15th Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
They have made it
difficult to get in contact (calling back and forth times) and are now (06th of December 1:05pm) just telling me that they refuse to discuss the matter over the phone, so a meeting will need to be set up before any issues are resolved

I am rejecting this response because:
Once again, I am no longer comfortable coming in for a discussion and request all communication to be through the Revdex.com
My request remains the same, I would like a refund of the $I paid for a visit as I didn’t feel I was provided with adequate care due to the prescription being called into the pharmacy incorrectly three times resulting in me having to seek out and pay for alternative birth control methods for a month as well as for the lack of clarity in the bill I receivedI have not received any sort of apology from Pam for the lack of clarity in the billing issues when I called a number of times to try to discuss matters
I left the practice with more problems than I came with and I feel as though I was taken advantage of and robbed of almost $I have no plans in returning to the practice to seek medical care so the ‘New Patient Fee’ I was charged seems a bit redundant at this point
I worked in the medical field for almost years and the medical professionalism standard I was taught and observed others in the field hold true to is what defined a successful practice; an ongoing declaration to acquire, maintain and advance an ethical value system grounded in the conviction that the medical profession exists to serve patients’ and the public’s interests and not merely the self-interests of the practitioners
As a patient, I don’t feel as though my interest was considered while visiting the practice and that instead I was just another contribution to a paycheck
