And there was no hassle or wrangling over the price - they stuck to their quote exactly as provided We could not be happier with the service, the price, or the people - and we would not hesitate to contact them again for our next move

I recently had big joe movers move my apartment from Toronto to VancouverI was very worried as I had read so much about scams that are run in the moving business, and I was given a really good price so I was skeptical that it was too good to be trueAll my things were delivered on time and there wasn't anything damaged, not only that but I had way more stuff than I had originally told joe I had and wasn't charged anymore than he quotedMy experience with him and his team was absolutely excellent, and I've told him to give my contact info out to any potential customers that would like to talk about my experience using his service

Joe and his crew were amazing, very friendly & fastThey got all my stuff moved and put into storage I forgot to let them know all my stuff was going to storage & I didn't have blankets to store my breakables in but they worked with me and got it done I would & will recommend them to anyone moving

I requested a move in August 28, at 4:00pmThey arrived hours lateI had to call them to inquire rational for tardiness because they did not call meThe two movers were very slow, did not wrap my items (bedroom set, and other furniture) and refused to use the ramp despite my request I called the manager regarding the ramp then the movers used the ramp when unloading the items to the new location
Both movers requested if they can use the kitchen sink for waterI was surprised when they turned the tap on and tilted there heads for a drink, lapping the water like a dogI thought they were going to use a water bottle or a cup
After the move was completed and the movers left I realized my mattress and box spring were damaged (dirt, holes, tears, rips) I sent the manager photos of the damage and he did not call me I called Joe (the manager) to discuss my concernsHe informed me the mattress/box spring was damaged prior to the move

Best movers ever! I've moved many times and had different movers This was the best experience yet! They took extreme care of our items I highly recommend using them

I was initially very impressed with the speed and courteousness of the estimator - I did have several quotes and the rates were in line with other movers This was not a challenging move; but, the three man crew that arrived (minutes late) were not a team, they did not have the correct tools (even though I had been very clear in what my expectations were) and they had a dolley-trolley that seemed less than adequate (they used mine for the whole move) The crew lead was competent; but, his team was not - there seemed to be a lack of experience and communication The hardwood floors in my old house have scratches from where furniture was dragged across - my new house has dings in the walls and ceilings And most upsetting is my furniture has dings and scratches as well Moving (in this case) was traumatic - this experience was not good!

After having our planned moving company increase the price at the last minute due to us asking for a walk through, we decided to do a quick shop aroundBig Joe came by right away and after asking, matched their quote with no strings attached
They worked hard, packed it all well with barely a scratch on anything and kept close to the schedule
When extra space was required, they brought another van, didn't charge us a dime and stuck to the quoted price without even brining it up
I would (and will) recommend Big Joe to others

Our experience using Big Joe's Moving we great We are downsizing, with some extra furniture the three young men moved it two or three times in the house without any hesitation The day we moved it rained all day but I didn't hear one complaint and the boys stayed in a good mood the whole day They were fast, efficient and careful with our belongings, not one things was damaged or broken I would use them again and have already recommended them to some people Great Job
