I purchased around $550 worth of products from the Academy Blvd. store. From the initial visit, to the final contact, the staff provided excellent customer service. The travertine tile, accents, and switch plates look beautiful in my new kitchen, and I thought the pricing was fair.

Unfortunately, I don't recall who helped me, initially, but a sales person took me around to the various products, left me alone, and then asked if he could answer any questions. I didn't feel pressured, what-so-ever.

The second time I went, [redacted], the store manager, was extremely helpful. He suggested some travertine tile accent pieces that were in the back area, sprayed water on the samples to show me what they would look like after the sealer is applied, labeled each sample and provided pricing, and sent me home, and told me to take as long as like in returning the samples.

The third visit, [redacted] helped me. It was a slow morning, and it appeared that he was working by himself. Even though customers kept coming into the store, I didn't feel like [redacted] was giving me less attention, as he quickly entered my order, loaded a cart, and put everything in the back of my van. Unfortunately, two things had to be ordered...

Within a few days, the 20 pieces of the diamond back splash accent tiles arrived, but the switch plate had not. When the switch plate arrived a couple days later, it was the wrong color. Sadly, this store was sold out of the light colored travertine switch plates I needed and was ordering it from another store; that store sent the wrong color. [redacted] apologized profusely, and ordered another and gave it to me because of my inconvenience in waiting for the item, then going to the store to pick up, only to discover it being the wrong color.

Unfortunately, for me, the switch plate got broken when it was installed. [redacted] ordered two more from another store and had the store ship it to my house via UPS. Those two were the wrong color, too! [redacted], personally, went to a store in Denver, and hand-delivered the write colored plate to my house, and gave me a discount because of the hassle.

I am very impressed with the service [redacted] and [redacted] provide to their customers.

On 3/5/16 I purchased 2 slabs of quartz for $1500.00 ea, Whitney by Cambria, at the Mesa Az. store. The sales associate that helped me was J.C. My kitchen remodel took place and the countertops were to be measured April 22 and installed today, April 29, 2016. I got an email from J on April 21, 2016 asking me to call him. I called J and was informed that he was misquoted by $700 per slab and I would now need to pay an additional $1400.00. Evidently that is the difference between a standard and jumbo size slab. Why did it take 7 weeks for J to find this information out, and suspiciously the day before my counters were to be measured. I went with World of Tile because the contractor I chose was a name J gave me and they provided the best quote. However, prior to going with World of tile I got quotes from several companies. Two of the quotes I received for the Whitney Cambria JUMBO sized were $1500 per slab. Two days ago I called one of the companies back and clarified that they indeed were jumbo sized slabs for $1500.00 each. So I am left to wonder what the truth is. Frustratingly I am sitting with a kitchen I cannot use because of J. C.'s "mistake". I am going to be honest and say I don't believe what I was told. This "mistake" has caused me an untold amount of stress and inconvenience. I will never enter another World of Tile and you can rest assured I will tell everyone I know what occurred.
