A Y A Remodeling

I signed an agreement with A & A Remodeling on March 2, 2020. As of today, August 4, he has not completed the work as outlined in the agreement.
I signed an agreement with A & A Remodeling on March 2, 2020. Because the copy of the agreement is hard to read, I will list the items as stated in the contract:
Demolition - floor tile - done
Install new tile floor - done twice as the first time was installed so badly, it had to be redone - see enclosed picture
Remove popcorn ceiling - done
Remove existing cabinets including countertops and backsplash (kitchen) - done before March 4 - see enclosed picture
Plaster wall and paint - done
Close existing window - done
Drywall, plaster and paint - done
Install new glass door - not done
Install new water heater - done
Install two bi-fold doors - done
Install new cabinets (kitchen) plywood and granite countertops and backsplash, double sink and faucet installation only (we need to purchase) - not done
Recheck plumbing - not done
Labor and materials included - not done
Total $8,000.00 - He was paid $4,000.00 on the day of the agreement and he requested an extra $2,000.00 in cash to purchase all the materials, leaving a balance of $2,000.00. He also requested and was paid $500.00 in cash as a deposit for the granite countertop and backsplash for which I owe him another $500.00 (A receipt will be provided upon request)..
Please see the enclosed timeline. The kitchen demolition was all done on or around March 4, 2020. A month later, on April 9, 2020 the floor was installed by the contractor. Because, self admitted, he was not used to putting down floors, the tiles were installed unevenly, some higher than others and the floor had to be redone. This is when all the problems started. On Friday, June 5, 2020 the contractor called to say that he will be there on Monday, June 8th to finish the floor but no show or call. The next Tuesday he said that he had eye surgery - who can schedule an eye surgery in 5 days? He then told us one lie after another, like he had corona virus twice, a urinary infection; he had many excuses but basically never showed when he was supposed to. We keep waiting for him but now I need to take whatever action I can to see this job to completion. I am an quadriplegic and I have not had a kitchen since March. Here I am five months later and I can't even go out to the kitchen to do anything. Dishes have to be done in the bathroom and the microwave is the only appliance available to me. I would appreciate anything that you can do to help me with this. I am including a timeline detailing how many times we have texted and called him all to no avail. I counted the texts - between my sister and myself we have texted him 20 times and called him 63 times. I am exhausted of waiting. He is a scam artist that takes advantage of my financial limitations- he knows that right now I don't have a kitchen but I cant just go and hire someone else to do it.
