CONTRACTOR [redacted] DID NOT RESPOND,SHOWED NO ACCOUNTABILITY, NO RETURN PHONE CALLS WHEN PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED FROM INSTALLATION OF AIR CONDITION My complaint is against A-Z Maintenance, Owner [redacted] TN XXXXXXXX.258.7771 & [redacted]In July of 2012 Mr. [redacted] was referred to me. I had Mr. [redacted] to come to my home and look at my Air condition unit. I am a cancer patient and survivor. I had been dealing with my illness and a bad Air condition problem. During this time I was very sick battling with my illness. I knew at anytime my old air unit would be going out. Mr. [redacted] told me what I already knew, that my air unit was going to go out at anytime. I told Mr. [redacted] I only had about $2000.00.Mr. [redacted] told me that he could get me a new Air condition unit for the amount of $2000.00 dollars. Mr. [redacted] did an assessment of my air unit. He told me he could get me a 5 Ton unit and also replace my A-Coil in my attic. After the assessment Mr. [redacted] left to go and purchase an Air Condition unit. Mr. [redacted] came back with a new 5 Ton air condition. Mr. [redacted] stated that he did business with a company and this company allowed him to purchase from them because he was a contractor. I did not question Mr. [redacted] as to where he went to purchase my air unit. I completely trusted Mr. [redacted]. I told him several times that he had really been an answer to my prayers. I thanked him for being such a blessing to me and working with me for the small amount of money that I had. I really never knew what an air condition really cost. I never once thought that he would be the dishonest and shady person that he has shown me he is. When Mr. [redacted] completed the job I paid him in cash. Mr. [redacted] did not give me a receipt. I called him to ask him for my receipt and Mr. [redacted] stated he would put my receipt in the mail. I have yet to receive my receipt for any of the charges and payments. I never really new what Mr. [redacted] paid for the Air condition. This was not disclosed to me. There were other problems that came with the replacing of my air condition such as my needing a new electrical box for my new air condition. I PAID Mr. [redacted] the amount he charged me to buy and replace what he needed for the new Electrical box. During that year of July the Air condition was cooling. A month later In August the Air condition seemed to stop cooling. I turned the unit off and waited for a minute and turned my air unit back on and it started to cool again. I made it through that summer. The year of 2013 when it began to get hot my air condition was not cooling again. I tried several times to reach Mr. [redacted]. I left several Messages with no return calls.I also had my son to reach Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] did respond to him and told my son he would call me. Mr. [redacted] NEVER!! Once Called. My Air condition would work but the air was not very cold. In 2014 the month of May my Air condition was completely gone. I had to hire another contractor to find out the problem. My New contractor told me I had a large hole in the Condenser Coil. A MFG DEFECT!!! My Contractor contacted Mr. [redacted] to see if he would tell him where he bought my unit. Mr. [redacted] returned his call sometime later. My contractor informed Mr. [redacted] of the problems I have encountered and Mr. [redacted] only replied that "OH SHE DOES HAVE A BIG HOLE" Mr. [redacted] not once took on ownership, accountability, or responsibility in assisting me. Mr. [redacted] only wanted to know from my contractor if he had an air condition unit he wanted to sell him. It has been less than 2 SUMMERS and I have not had any CONSISTENT DEPENDABLE FLOWING AIR from a BRAND NEW UNIT. Mr. [redacted] refuses to be accountable and has avoided me from the beginning of my problems. The company my air condition was bought from is:Turk's Heating and Air Condition, [redacted] Ms XXXXX. MY HOUSE IS 87 DEGREES AS I TYPE THIS COMPLAINT EVERYONE GOT PAID AND I AM SUFFERINGDesired SettlementA REPLACEMENT OF AIR CONDITION UNIT.

I hired the company to remove and replace the evaporator coil in my ac system. The work was not done as specified in writing on the signed contract.On 5-12-2014 I hired A to Z Maintenance to remove and replace my evaporator coil in my ac system. We agreed on a price of $650 to do the work. On 5-12-2014 two men arrived at my house to begin working on my ac system to get it up and working. These two men were [redacted] and [redacted] both from A to Z Maintenance. They stayed under the house for a couple hours repairing the issue with my coil. When they were done working I thought they did everything that they agreed to do because the air was cooling and it was not cooling prior to the work being done. The next day I called Mr. [redacted] to let him know that it was not getting as cold as it should be and he told me that the outside condenser would need to be r replaced and gave me a price of $850 to purchase and have installed a used condenser that he had for sale. I didn't think this sounded right so I went under my house to investigate myself and found out that they never removed the clogged old coil that they told me they would remove and replace but they installed the new coil behind it which stops the air from flowing freely and this results in the ac unit not preforming as it should. upon finding this out I tried contacting Mr. [redacted] for months to address the issue with no answer for months. I finally got feed up with trying to reach him and decided to go forward with legal actions so I text Mr. [redacted] to inform he of this and he finally text me back saying "DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO" after months of no response which let me know that he had been avoiding me purposely .Desired SettlementI am not asking for a dime of my money back I would just like for the job to be completed and done the way that he told me it would be done when he was trying to get my money out of me.
