Review: I had an appointment for 11 a.m. I arrived at the shop at 10:30 a.m. and found the shop closed. I called the owner/the person with whom I had made the appointment. He told me he would be at the shop at 11 a.m. His secretary arrived at 10:45 and let me in. I waited until 12:15 and then left. They called me at 1 p.m. when the owner finally arrived at the shop to ask me to return. I returned at 2:35. I drove the car into the shop and stood and watched as the owner began to work on my car. It was 3:05 p.m. He completed the 1st part of the task (the removal of the sway bar mount) within 20 minutes. He then wandered around the shop aimlessly for 15 minutes. He finally gathered his tools to do the 2nd part of the task ( grind the remaining part of the old sway bar mount from the frame and weld the new sway bar mount to the frame). He didn't grind the remaining part of the old sway bar mount from the frame instead he got his welding equipment and began to repair his welding stand for ten minutes. He then got into a heated argument with his secretary over her having been approached by someone who had offered her a job. This went on for approximately 25 minutes. He eventually finished the job. The job was rated for 1 hour of labor he charged me for 2 hours of labor. He actually worked on my car for 1 hour and 10 minutes. In December of 2010 I brought the same car to this shop and had the same repair done. An employee did the work and it took 1 hour to complete and I was charged 1 hour of labor.Desired Settlement: Refund $75.00 for overcharge and waste of my time.
