We were recommended A-Z for towing our car after an accident. Boy was this the biggest mistake!
First, the tow driver told us SonShine Collision does not like towed vehicles to be left in the lot after hours. = Lie #1. We personally spoke to SonShine about this and they say it is completely fine with them as they have a key drop box, but it is up to the tow company.
Second: I asked if that means they will tow it over to SonShine first thing the next morning. He told me yes. I asked follow up questions about if I need to do anything else for this and was told no, just the paperwork right then and it would be taken care of. = Lie # 2.
Third: We did not find out it hadn't been towed to SonShine until they called us 2 days later to check on when our car would be arriving. When I called A-Z we were told we had to sign additional paperwork to release it and have it towed to SonShine. So I went down there to do just that.
Fourth: Arriving in the am I was told they couldn't tow it until after 4:00 pm. Plus they are charging our insurance for 2 days of impound on top of the tow charge to their lot and a tow charge to SonShine. Needless to say I was LIVID. I said I would not wait and would call someone else to come tow it instead, which they would then require I pay the fees up front (could not bill insurance if we did it this way) so I said it better be at SonShine by 2pm. They did have it there by then.
Lastly and most infuriating of all: When I left I was approached by the owner outside who asked why I was upset. I told him why, I had been lied to multiple times. That's when the Owner LAUGHED at my response and was told I had no reason to be upset and it is not their responsibility to tell me the law.
I was beyond livid now. I has asked multiple questions to make sure I had done everything I was supposed to. They had my contact information and never called to tell me they still had my vehicle, I was lied to multiple times and now I have an Owner laughing at me, telling me how I should feel and saying it was all on me.
