On 05/31/I went in the Deming, NM office of Desert Glass and paid a down payment of $(out of total of $285.52) for a home window replacement
Early July I went back into the office and asked how much longer this would take? The owner stated he needed to pick up the window in El Paso, TX, that he would do that the following Wednesday
I called my credit card company 08/07/to protest the charge of the $down paymentThey said they would try to contact the company in attempt to mediate the dispute
Today 08/08/2017, Desert glass called in AM but I was not homeI called back PM, and was told by an employee that the window was never ordered
This company takes massive down payment but does not perform the service they agreed to doThat is not just bad business practice, that is outright fraud
