To Whom It May Concern, I am so sorry to hear about the bad experience you had with us I am well aware of this case as it been going on since last week and have accelerated to extreme over the weekendWe have tried to resolved it with you numerous timesAs I advise all of my locksmith, we have informed you with all the pricing up front before we started the key process, we had your signature on the work order form for the amount and the key that we will be making for your vehicleAs soon as the locksmith finished the job and asked to collect the payment you asked for a remote transmitter which wasn't part of the work order before We advised that we don't have this remote in stock, and you can go and get it done at the key less remote shop in Bethesda mall, outside of sears We never said that we own that shop! This shop is locally owned by independent owner whom specialized in car remotesAs we thought we settled it, you called again the next day with fake name, fake address and car information for a car that you don't even own, as the technician showed up for the appointment, you decided to use aggressive measure and held the locksmith as a hostage by blocking his vehicle from getting out from the street with few other family/friends vehiclesAs we hired a private investigator to check the option for serious criminal charges against you and the people whom were involve in that action of yours, we been advised not to contact you anymore and this case is out from our hands at this momentUnfortunately, we will not be able to refund any monies back at this point, we will be updating you with certified letters regard the outcome of our investigationWe wish the best to you and we are sorry that we can not help you further Refund amount : $

On behalf of A1Affordable Locksmith, we are very sorry to hear about the less than satisfactory service that this client had experienced from our company and we thank you for bringing it to our attentionWe pride ourselves in our credibility and have taken the steps to handle this situation accordinglyIn regards to the lock that was installed; it is priced at about half of what the total cost for the work that was chargedIf this customer has any further problems with this lock, we will send a technician out there to repair or replace the lock at no charge at allOnce again, on behalf of the company, we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused,Best Regards,

I am rejecting this response because the business agreed that the cost of the lock was overpriced yet the only option that they're willing to offer me is to contact them if I'm having the problems. The lock was less than $20.00 which is not 1/2 of the cost. The business did not address their emoloyee's unprofessional behavior which really saddens me. I will NEVER contact this company again and their add needs to be removed from the yellow pages before another consumer contacts them and get ripped off. As I stated in my original complaint, I did not feel safe staying in my home with that cheap lock that was installed. I incurred additional costs on top of what I paid this company to have them reinstall my original lock and rekey. This is what I thought this company was going to do based on their sales add. I'm totally disappointed in this company's response and lack of customer satisfaction.

This business is unreliable and unprofessional; I would never ever use them or recommend their services to any one. Their manager is also unprofessional and unreasonable and appears to be a scam artist.
(I don't need a resolution; merely stating a complaint so others don't receive the same treatment that our company received when trying to use their service.) .

The owner (the person who came to make my keys) was rude he came late after 9pm and the he didn't specify the price for my two cars so I ended up paying $260 for two cars older than 10 years. His exact words "I'll give it to you for $130 since you have two cars" I would never ever ever ever refer anyone to this place. I had multiple family members who wanted to get their car keys made, but I told them to look elsewhere. He did nothing. He threw my keys on the chair after he was done. The only person that was nice Natalie. Please save your money and try another place. You can surely get better prices and more friendlier service by looking elsewhere.
