A1 auto sales on Lamar!!
I want to warn everyone not to buy from this car lot. I'll tell a little bit about my experience.

So I was looking for a vehicle and stumped across this car lot and found a nice looking truck I wanted to test drive. A friend and I ask to drive it and see how I liked it. As I was driving it I didn't notice any severe issues with it other than the headliner was coming down and I immediately asked if it could be fixed or replaced. The guy sprays adhesive on it and calls it a day. I also mentioned that I needed the third row because I am a nanny and have multiple kids to take to and from. (The motor would make a sound but the seat wouldn't go up. He told me that he would fix it if I brought it in the following Saturday. I overall liked the way it drove. So I went through with the process of buying the vehicle. $4000 cash bought. I was told that after I paid the sales tax $517, that I could come back and pick up the title. ONE day goes by and I notice that every time I would back out of my drive way and try to go forward, I would get stuck and the car would jump. I would push on the gas to try and go and it would jerk and stay in position. I mentioned it to *** at a1 and he said he would fix it Saturday along with the seats and the headliner. That following Saturday I drop the truck off the get the seat motor fixed in the back and to get the jerking problem resolved. Two weeks go by and I pick up the truck. And NOTHING WAS FIXED. The only thing they did was force the seats up and break the motor so it wouldn't get stuck again. I let that go because I needed the seats up and that was the least of my worries. I notice afterwards when I'm driving home that it's still jerking when I put it into drive and making a terrible sound underneath the car. (Sounding like it's going to fall apart) I contact *** again multiple times to see about getting an exchanged vehicle or refund in money. Then a few days later my hood starts to smoke and I was told that it was my burnt engine valve. ANOTHER PROBLEM. (Along with some minor issues that I haven't mentioned like not being able to get an alignment because the bottom of the car is messed up and needs $1000 worth of replacing.) I go up to the car lot today because I have barely been able to drive my truck in 2 months because of all the problems and they tell me that they aren't responsible for anything due to this guy *** not being a part of their car lot crew. That he was just selling cars on the side and renting a office in their small building and saying that he is selling for them. IN THEIR BUILDING. SELLING CARS ON THEIR LOT. And apparently the guy that sold me the truck is no longer working there and no where to be found. So now I'm stuck with a car that is expired in tags, that has no title and a loss of $4000. Save your money and never buy here. I will he hiring an attorney. And holding A1 auto sales responsible for allowing someone to sell me a truck off the lot and not claiming responsibility.

Dear Revdex.com

I was fraudulently sold a vehicle by being mislead about the mileage of the car. I was told there was 60000 miles less than actual. They refuse refund
On January 18, I called a1 auto and spoke to a salesman named Tony about a truck featured on their website. He told me that the vehicle was ready to be purchased and I arrived the next day, January 19. When I arrived, he told me that the truck was not ready to be sold, due to the damage I noticed on the front (not shown in the image). He proceeded to show me other vehicles on the lot based on my budget of 3,500 dollars total. I declined three of the cars he pointed out due to the high mileage of the vehicles. The final car we looked at was a blue Ford Taurus. When I asked him how many miles the vehicle had, he told me that he had to go into the building and check the paperwork to find out. After returning with the key he told me that the car only had 115,000 miles and that I could purchase it for $3,500 total (sales tax and all) as my budget allowed. After giving the car a jump--I was told that it was necessary due to the cold weather--he put two dollars worth of gas into the car. The vehicle was pulled next to my rental with the key in the ignition and I got into it to test drive it with the salesman in the passenger seat. With limited gas we test drove it by riding it down the street and back to the lot. After test driving it, I agreed to purchase it and signed the paperwork and paid for the vehicle in Tony's office. I signed the papers prior to his completion of filling them out. I gave him $3,501 in cash. I was told that the vehicle would be cleaned while I returned the rental and that it would be ready the next day, January 20, Saturday. After stating concerns about the vehicle needing to be jumped and admitting that I did not know a lot about vehicles since I did not need to purchase them prior to my divorce, Tony gave me his personal number and guaranteed that if any problem arose it would be resolved. When I entered the lot on the agreed next day, Tony met me at the door and said that the man they paid to clean the car (not an employee) took the keys home and was not returning any of their calls. He told me that they are closed on Sundays, but they would come in to bring me the keys. I was told that the gas tank would be filled by the next day for the inconvenience of needing to keep my rental car another day. The next day I arrived, January 21, and the tank was on E. I was given the two sets of keys and only $10 to put into the tank. Two days later, January 23, I turned the key in the ignition and noticed the odometer before it quickly returned to words about the vehicle. It read over 175,663 miles. I immediately called Tony from my job, which I could not leave, and he told me that it had 115,000. I told him that I would send an image as soon as possible. After messages the image, he replied "U rite, I said 115,000". I told him that was way off the agreed mileage and that I would return the next day to find another car or be given a refund. The next day, I called and asked if he was busy and asked if I could come to car search while I was in the area. After a series of ignored calls, messages, and being told that they were not on the location, I returned on February 9, 2018. I was met by Tony when entering the building. I asked him why I was being ignored and told him that I wanted a refund for the car. He told me that he had the power to refund me the money for my vehicle, but wanted to speak with someone else about it. He said that that person was in a meeting, when I asked when he would be available he told me that the person was out of town. Each question was followed by an avoiding response. He then subtly threatened me wit lawyers and no refund. He told me that it was my fault that I did not notice the false mileage sooner.

Desired Outcome

I am simply seeking a full refund. It has not been a month since I purchased the vehicle. I purchased it under false representation of the product and fraudulent odometer claim. As I told the salesman prior to the sale, I did not intend to buy anything with higher mileage than 150,000 miles. I would not have bought the vehicle if it was sold to me in honest practice. In order to purchase a new vehicle, I need a full refund. Because I did not receive the vehicle promised (one with 115,000 miles) I want a refund on the vehicle of 175,000+ miles.
